Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Wilderness Lodge CL review

Overall...amazing! Staff was so pleasant and helpful. Food amazing for breakfast and dinner. Enough for a meal, easily.

Breakfast variety rotated about every three days, included a hot egg dish, oatmeal with toppings and a meat (sausage, crispy bacon, ham). Also included fresh berries and melon, yogurt, pastries.

Midday snacks were a little disappointing, but not terrible. Bagged chips with assorted dips (these were tasty!), wrapped single serve fruit, veggies and dip.

Dinner was amazing every night. So much variety! I can’t even remember it all. Each night had a smoked meat (ribs, chicken, brisket, all delicious), some kind of cold chicken salad (traditional and curried), a cold fish salad type dish, cheeses and fruit, kids dish were a roasted chicken and veggie mix and a beef pasta. I watched multiple kids smash bowl after bowl of that pasta!

Desserts were great as well. Fruit cobbler, two kinds of dessert shooters, mini cupcakes and cookies.

Housekeeping was daily and excellent. Rooms bright and clean, love the refurb.

Happy to answer any questions!
We are staying in October. Was your room close to lounge?

Poly CL review

I wish it were as great as my above WL review, but we weren’t big fans. Let me start by saying I love the Poly. It’s my favorite resort and we almost always stay there. This is our first time trying CL at the Poly. After coming from a relaxing calm week in the WL lounge, the Poly felt the exact opposite. It was always crowded, loud, and impossible to find a seat. Some guy was walking around barefoot in the food area! They seemed very understaffed. I will say the staff that was there were great, there just clearly wasn’t enough of them. We were dealing with a food allergy for our toddler, and we honestly didnt feel safe eating in the lounge with her. Tables had plates and cups left on them, things werent wiped down. Just overall not the serene experience we had just had over at the WL. Because of this we rarely ate in the lounge.

The room refurb is great and housekeeping was awesome as well. We just didn’t feel like we could enjoy the lounge. After some hectic, crazy crowded days in the parks, the last thing we wanted to deal with was a chaotic lounge. We were pretty bummed. But, lesson learned. We will just enjoy the Poly in a regular room! The price was also $200/night more than our WL CL room, and in no way did it feel like it should have been that much more.

Well that stinks. Still looking forward to my 1st CL stay but this is a bummer...

For those of you who were talking about how we can thank CM’s in the lounge, they’ve enhanced the Cast Compliments section of MDE. It’s a nice added way to say Thank you…

Spreading More Magic with Mobile Cast Compliment at Walt Disney World

Beginning today, it will be easier than ever to recognize the people who make magic for you during your visit, as you can now compliment individual cast members – by their first name and hometown – as part of new enhancements to Mobile Cast Compliment.

To access Mobile Cast Compliment, search “Cast Compliment” in the My Disney Experience mobile app (you can also conveniently find it in a few other parts of the app, too).

This is exactly what we were hoping to avoid when we booked the Tonga Suites.

We are pretty frustrated with the situation and just reading your review justifies our feelings.

I feel like most of the rooms are close to the lounge! We were about midway down the hall. A quick minute walk (my newly walking one year old handled it fine) and we were there! Super handy when we would always seems to forget something in the room. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Its definitely YMMV. But for our family and what we were looking to get out of the lounge it just didn’t work for us. I think the stark comparison to the WL CL we moved over from didn’t help. It looked like they were training some new CM’s too, which would definitely help. One made a side comment to me about how a few of the recently hired CM’s weren’t showing up to shifts.

Yeah, Poly CL and WL CL is like the the tale of two extremes - the biggest CL (or close to biggest) vs the smallest CL. Poly serves the 102 guest rooms in Hawaii plus the 6 Tonga suites. WL serves something like 23 guest rooms, 1 suite, and 10 Deluxe rooms (assuming they are not offering the CL paid add-on right now, not sure if we’ve been able to confirm that or not)… so very very tiny.

Just booked a trip for May 2022! A split stay between Coronado and Animal Kingdom Lodge. Trying Gran Destino Tower and the Chronos Club for the first time! Wasn’t able to get Kilimanjaro Club but I’ll be keeping an eye on availability.

Anyone here have experience staying in the Deluxe Suites at Gran Destino? It looks like the lake facing suites are right beside the guest elevators and service elevators. Any issues with noise? I would think that they’re well soundproofed! 😊

I’ve only ever stayed in ones around the guest elevator bank, not the service elevator, but I could occasionally hear elevator clicking and various noises. I would not say it was overly bothersome and it wouldn’t stop me from staying in this room type, but just a small observation. Frankly many WDW rooms have noise of some sort, be it mechanical noises, HVAC, plumbing noises, noisy neighbors, or the like. So I put it in the category of just normal stuff, from my perspective.

FWIW, DW says I’m nuts and she didn’t hear anything… so YMMV!

Thanks! I’m not concerned by it but my Dad tends to be a bit overly sensitive about noise lol. But if it’s just basic hotel room noise he’ll be 100% fine. The room looks awesome and we haven’t tried club level at Coronado yet - looking forward to it! It will be our first trip back to WDW since Dec 2019. Here’s hoping it goes off without a hitch.

Is the walk that bad from the Boardwalk Cottages to the Innkeeper's Club lounge? About how many minutes do you think?

I just came back from GDT and had a Deluxe Suite on floor 9 right behind the elevator. In the bedroom you do not hear a thing!! I slept without a peep coming from anywhere. Of course, almost all are connecting rooms so if you have a loud neighbor you can hear them in the living room space, but if you close the bedroom door, silence. ;-) I'll be back in one beginning of April.

It’s not long at all. Shortcut of stairs comes out by the desk. We would always take the elevator though. That’s real easy

however, there’s been a question on if they include club level access now. It is not listed with access on the website. There’s been changes with rooms given access at BWI so it’s been a great big question mark for a while now. At that price they should include it that’s for sure

You just gave me a heart attack! 🤣🤣🤣 But I double checked and my confirmation email says "Outer Bldg - Garden Room - Club Level Access" and I received another email with the number to the Disney Signature Services Team. So we should be good, right?

Thanks for letting me know the walk isn't that bad. My parents also have a cottage and use rollators so they'll be using the elevator for sure!

I’m sure you know this, but just in case, the bedroom area in the cottage is up a reasonably steep flight of stairs…

Yeah. It was their idea to stay in them though. I warned them! They only use the rollators at Disney and they assured me a flight of stairs would be fine. We'll see. Thanks for the heads up though.
