Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Hi fellow Club Level enthusiasts! This is the friendliest thread on the board, in my opinion, and I’m hoping for some advice.

I’ve stayed CL twice - BWI in 2014 and WL in 2018. We had great experiences at both places, BWI was a surprise upgrade and WL was my son’s first visit at 18 months old.

We were supposed to go in May 2020 and have pushed the trip to the first week of August 2022. We have decided on Beach Club for a variety of reasons, primarily proximity to Epcot and DHS and the pool. My family consists of me, DH, and our 6 year old son. I currently have a standard room booked but we are considering upgrading to CL. Problem is, as you all know, things change all the time and I feel like 9 months from now is an eternity away, especially with G+ having just come out. It wouldn’t surprise me if that product is tweaked between now and then and it could totally change how I approach touring. Also, BC CL is not yet open, so I can’t judge how “good” it is yet.

Does anyone think I can legitimately wait until Jan/Feb to switch and kind of see how things are going? Or will the rooms all be booked by then do you think?

Sorry for the ramble. I’m feeling really confused about this trip. It’ll be my 10th visit to Disney World and I feel like such a newbie!! I appreciate any advice.
I would book now. I'm from northeast and that's a big travel time. I would hate for you to want it and it's not available.
I forgot she did notice that CR 2 bd suite lol.

Thx for your input.
I like the idea of a suite for a bug friend group. I think hang out space is nice. I would also pre-order snacks and lots of beverages 😆 sounds like a great time.

Good morning!!! I’m so excited for 2 reasons and I know you will understand more than anyone in my local world. :rotfl2:

I just paid off my January Disney trip. Since we really want to stay at the
Contemporary CL TPV once, I paid rack rate. Hoping this is the last time I do that!!:scared:

I also just booked a trip in December 2022 to stay at
BWI CL in a Deluxe room. :cool1::cool1: It’s been years since we’ve stayed at BWI and all this talk of their awesome CL sealed the deal. We also have never been when it’s decorated for Christmas. Very excited!

Okay thanks for listening!

We’ve never done CL at CR, but we recently stayed Tower TPV and it was great. Watching the park early in the morning while having coffee and the fireworks at night was amazing. We really liked the redone rooms as well. Enjoy!

Oh I am so excited. That is great to hear and sounds like my plan. We stayed in the Garden Wing a few years back so I am very excited to stay in the tower this time. :)

@NicoleLarson. I loved your photos of AKL club level - Kilimanjaro.

Did DSS call you? Did you get a welcome gift? (In years past, we got chocolates and a carved giraffe and once treats in a burlap bag).

I think you said turn down and daily housekeeping was not done either, is that correct?

I did not see Coke Zero in the fridge pic. Do you know if it is available by request? It was the last couple of time we went but I don’t remember if they ever put it in the fridge.

I also didn’t see the Tusker beer In your photos.

Did you request the Pap? We are from Louisiana and the pap reminds us of grits but creamier- it is so good. Side note: the polenta from Riviera is great also!

We have not stayed CL since WDW reopening, but we have stayed at Copper Creek, Boardwalk, Polynesian, Riviera Resort and Jambo House (March 2021 so club was not open yet). We are ready to be back in the lounge.

We are going to look into a couple of nights CL @ Boardwalk before we go to AKL because everyone raves about it and we have never stayed CL at BW.

Thanks for the photos and any other information!

So no club level this trip, stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter for two nights, doing DVC points for the rest of the trip. Checked into Animal Kingdom Lodge today for three nights, then on to Polynesian DVC for three nights.

You can just about see the club lounge behind the top of the tree:

We did NOT get a call from DSS but it seems like we were an oddity. Yes, we got a welcome gift. Its a white chocolate bar with edible animal images. Correct, no daily housekeeping or turndown but we were moved to the 5th floor so that might have been the reason.

I dont drink soda so I'm sorry I can't answer your coke zero question.

We did not have pap when I was there, we did see oatmeal in the morning.

They do still have Tusker but they were out when we were there.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Some things are different from pre-covid but nothing that would stop us from going back again. Sounds like you have a great trip planned, have fun!!

can someone help me out

i've been trying to call the signature services number 407 939 7777 for a week now and i keep getting 'verizon wireless your call cannot be completed as dialed' is this the right number? does anyone have a different number? am i the only one having this problem or is something just not working right.

have a trip starting nov 21 at GF CL and have questions about where i can park my RV while at the hotel as we are moving to the campground after Thanksgiving.

thanks

During our last visit in November to VGF, there were two motorhomes parked in the DVC lot the entire week. I’d assume that’s where they’d have you park. Have fun!

I just tried that number and it went right through for me, FWIW.

No personal experience, but I routinely see RVs parked in the lots of various resorts we’ve stayed in over time. Usually in outer spaces/out of the way given sizes. I’ve always assumed it’s pretty common and Disney is happy to accommodate. Worst case scenario they may need to let you in the valet area since sometimes the hotel side regular parking lot can be pretty full at GF.

usually we are at the YC and park at the BC but might be extra long this year if I tow up the golf cart 😁

I’m going to try and find someone not on Verizon next. Figured at first it was my 541 area code but even a Florida area code didn’t work 😢
finally got through on the land line must be a Verizon issue
thanks everyone

I have Verizon Wireless & it went thru fine for me.

Currently I have booked AKL CL but debating on switching to Grand Destino CL for my May 2022 trip. I've only ever done YC CL in my many Disney Trips and that was a mega upgrade on check in that I got! Looking to splurge as this will be my lone trip next year to finish off my Annual pass. So any recommendations between the two CL's I'd love to hear! Also hoping that a discount will come out for May 2022 to help bring down the costs! Grand Destino CL is about $200 less than AKL CL!

I stayed in Grand Destino last summer in a standard room and loved my tower room....I've also have stayed at AKL 3 times and love how the resort is it's own vacation and so peaceful from the craziness of the parks! I know Grand Destino CL hasn't opened up yet....but those that have stayed at both...which did you prefer and why? Thanks!

Finally got through on the land line
They have notified the GF that the RV and Minnie Golf cart are coming. I’ll post where they put us 😁

now to figure out why my Verizon phones can’t call signature services but can dial other Disney numbers 😁😁😁

Just switched my trip for next week from BWI to AKL. I'm excited because we haven't stay CL there before, but do they have sparkling water? After the cappuccino machine, that's my favorite part of BWI!
Also, does anyone have a current recreation photo?
