There's the infamous cover of Whitney Houston singing I Will Always Love You which was written & song by Dolly Parton.


I also like this cover of Somewhere Over the Rainbow by Israel Kamakawiwo`ole. It was used for the soundtack of 50 First Dates.

Love this! I have it in my playlist titled "Happy", which is songs that I listen to when I need to cheer myself up!

Yes! I love her cover as well, but I feel like it's unfair to compare because isn't Dolly her godmother or something? I like how she made it more fast and pop-ey.

Sometimes the remake of an older song gets to be more popular then the original. W. Houston's version was already mentioned but also recall Patsy Cline having I think her biggest hit with W. Nelson's song.
