Official 2021 "Disney After Hours Boo Bash" Thread

Very odd situation in MDE. I have Boo Bash tickets for 2 different night. In MDE, the tickets for the one night all have a "drop down" box to reassign tickets. The tickets for the other night all show "nontransferable" and I want to reassign one of those tickets to someone else. What's up with that? *Never mind - I think the people that I assigned them to originally will be able to reassign*

That wouldn't seem fair...charge more on a Friday night for a more crowded experience?

I imagine if someone found a way to prove that, Disney would have a lot of people asking for refunds! :D
Supply and demand. Higher prices help to distribute the crowds to lower priced days exactly the way they're doing with their date-driven tickets now ... although if the parties are all sold out what would be the point?

That doesn't mean that Fridays would have more capacity than Tuesdays though. Just means you pay more to go on Friday because it's more popular.

I've heard of Disney increasing the number of tickets for more popular nights, sure. S&D is not a static formula, it slides according to how marketing wants to use it. Maybe not raise the price so much and instead let more people through the gates, which means more overhead with employees and supplying the free snacks.

Whatever the case, the number of tickets sold will be substantially less than the daytime occupancy.

So park hours for August 14 (and some dates in September) just cleaned to be closing at 6pm. is it wrong for me to day dream that it's an additional Boo Bash night? 🤞🏻🤞🏼🤞🏽🤞🏾🤞🏿

ETA: apparently my news source saying this was a new change was way way wrong. No chance of another party. H/t to 123SA

August 14 has had an early closing time listed for a while. I believe the consensus is that the park is closing early for a corporate event/rental thing. So...no, not likely to be a Boo Bash night

With cruising coming back in August, I've been contemplating getting tickets for Boo Bash as we have a cruise booked for Sept. It's just a shame that they are non-refundable but I understand why. If the cruise is canceled we won't be coming to WDW. Definitely in a tight spot because the tickets seem to be going fast.

The CM who helped me on the phone told me that if I had to cancel, the cost of the canceled tickets could be applied to a future purchase. I did not ask details, but you might call and ask.

Hello! Just wondering what everyone's plans are for the day if going to Boo Bash at night. I am thinking we should take it easy and relax and get to MK around 4:30-5 (using a park ticket), have an early dinner, and then enjoy the bash. We are also thinking about Disney Springs, Blizzard Beach, or another park in the morning, then hotel and nap before heading to MK. Our bedtime is usually 9pm, due to very early hours at work, so I am a little concerned if we do too much, we will be too tired to enjoy the bash.

I am going solo 8/17 and flying in that day around noon. Taking a relaxing time at POP and heading over to MK in time for my (also relaxing) reservation at the Plaza at 6:20. Around 7 I'll check wait times for anything under 10 minutes or just hit the stores for an hour. 8PM get a spot for HEA. During the Boo Bash I'll concentrate on special cavalcades, photopass, entertainment, and merch if there is any. Even if I'm exhausted from the travel day I'll try to stay til 12:30 as the next day is EP and I can sleep in a little!

Hello! Just wondering what everyone's plans are for the day if going to Boo Bash at night.

Our trip is really short, only Sunday night through Thursday morning (we basically just booked for Boo Bash). We plan to do Hollywood Studios the day of our Boo Bash. Not interested in ROTR (it was a one-and-done for us) so we won't be getting up early to rope drop it.

Edit to add: We'll do Epcot the next day and since it doesn't open until 11:00, won't be missing out by sleeping in.

We're going to just do a Magic Kingdom day. Perhaps we'll go back to the hotel mid-day, perhaps not. We figure we ca take our time going through the park since we will also be there in the evening. We have reservations for an early dinner at Liberty Tree. We didn't want dinner right before we eat all the popcorn and Mickey bars we can. :mickeybar

We're just planning on a chill day. Might go to Disney Springs for breakfast/brunch, then hang out at the resort (POR).

We’re doing breakfast at Ale and Compass, then ice cream at Beaches and Cream. Nap and swim, followed by dinner at Ft wilderness. Heading to Boo Bash right at 7:00.
