Masks no longer required outdoors at WDW

“Upon entering and throughout all attractions” would include while waiting in line, correct?

I would think it would be once you entered the official queue - not just the extended outdoor portion. Like for Kilimanjaro Safari you would put it on when you enter the covered portion. Kind of like now how you can eat and drink up to that point.

OMG We're going a week from today and I just squealed out loud at work. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We are here now and I just screamed knowing we get to enjoy no masks outside for the second half of our trip. My DD and I were here in November and January and did fine with the masks. It's not even very hot here (for FL in June) right now and I had a tough time sometimes today. It will be so nice to get some fresh air outside.

THANK YOU, JESUS! Best news I've heard all week. We check into Pop Century on 6/1!

We check in WL June 2nd and I can finally get EXCITED! Youngest (adult) daughter was giving me a tremendous amount of stress about the mask; she's REALLY SENSITIVE to things touching her face. I'M SOOOOOOO HAPPY! Our 50th anniversary celebration can now BE a "celebration"! Having to wear during attractions is NOT a big deal for us! :tink:

I think people are going to be so happy to not have to wear them outside that they will be much more compliant putting them on when walking indoors.

I can’t even tell you how excited we are to hear this! I literally screamed and started jumping up and down. My DD came running in asking what was wrong. I was seriously about to cry I was so happy. This takes so much extra stress off worrying about how to get through the heat and humidity with the masks on. We are northerners and the Florida summers are very difficult for us. So so excited about this news!!

Correct. Once you enter a queue all the way to the exit

I'm guessing this will probably not be the case... some of these outdoor lines stretch out pretty far from the entrance of the attractions at this point. I know the reduction of social distancing to 3' will help with that, but I don't think Disney means that guests waiting in outdoor lines need to wear masks. Maybe they've already clarified this somewhere? I guess we will find out tomorrow!

Probably because children under 12 aren't vaccinated and so many adults refused to be vaccinated. Just a guess.

Exactly.

I'm not mad about it, but my child isn't yet eligible to be vaccinated. I hope people will be respectful of this fact and put their masks on in line. However, I've seen enough of human nature in the last year to doubt it. I am happy not to have to fight a two year old with a mask all day in the August heat. She's very good about wearing one, but she's also never experienced a Florida summer.
