Someone last week said that a CM told them they expected the dates to open today. I wonder if calling would make a difference?
Yeah i remember someone mentioning the 20th..... clearly no one knows!

Has anyone called about this party recently? I know a couple of people talked to CMs about it last week, I’m curious if anyone’s talked to anybody this week.
I talked with three DVC cast members yesterday, two of whom were helpful. They both told me they don't know anything, lol! The show may not be scheduled at this time cause of other activities, but they could not tell me why it was not opened after August yet, other than that guess.
Shocking!!They both told me they don't know anything
At least they were being honest.then in what way were they helpful?
This piece of info is pretty much the only thing keeping me from giving up hope on this event entirely. For all that are worried, the march dates weren’t shown until February 2. Similar was February dates not available until January.

I still wish they could get their act together, or better coordinate among the teams, but oh well
then in what way were they helpful? lol. I do find the DVC CMs to be in general more helpful than the general line though!

Still no September dates . Starting to get concerned that it won’t be offered.
I’m antsy, as you all are as well, that this may not work out in my favor. So, if I’m not able to get this Dessert Party on my desired night, I’m gonna book one of the parties at MK. But which one? Is the Terrace seating worth the added cost? Off topic, I know, but I’m looking for advice!

In my opinion, the plaza garden viewing is MUCH better and cheaper. You get a better view of the show from the plaza garden area, and again, it's cheaper. In my experience, we were able to sit down at the back of the garden viewing area pretty much the entire time...I don't recall if we had to stand when the show started or not. Either way, there was much more room in there to move around than outside the roped off area and a better view than under the terrace.
I haven't done it yet myself, I'm doing it for the first time as well. From the feedback I've read from people that have done the terrace view, it seems like the view is good, but off centre from the terrace and I'm not sure if you can see the projections very well. I suppose it depends if you prefer to sit during the show or if you're alright standing. But it sounds like the garden isn't too crowded and sometimes people there sit for the show as well, but it's not a guarantee as there's often people who decides to stand.
Thank you! I don’t mind standing, so I’m thinking we’ll do the Garden. Only time I’ve ever stayed seated for fireworks was the last time we saw Wishes; no one stood up! It was amazing!

There's another thread for the HEA fireworks if you want to join in the discussion there, or read reviews from other peoples experiences. One tip I've read from several people doing the garden view is to grab a spot at the very back to the right side. The reason for that is that even though people are pretty spread out as most are sitting while waiting for the show, when it starts most people stand up and goes as far to the front as possible, leaving the back wide open. Also there's a railing at the back you can lean against while watching if you're standing.
Disney clearly does not want to take anymore of my money
