I just looked at every single piece of men's clothing on the entire ShopDisney website, and I found one thing I'd buy. One.

This is certainly true. If you go into any mall anywhere, the vast majority of stores and merchandise are targeting female shoppers - clothing, jewelry, accessories, perfume, shoes, etc. But you can still walk into any mall anywhere and find an ample selection of men's wear from basic casual stuff like t-shirts and jeans to mid-range stuff like slacks and polo shirts to dressy stuff like button down shirts, ties, and suits. Disney is seriously lacking on the men's side.I can agree, but I also guess men don’t shop as much either?
The only reason I don't buy more costumes is the lack of variety. My boys LOVE dressing up as their favorite characters. I wish they had more for boys.I do agree that men shop less than women but less doesn't mean none. I don't think there will ever be merchandise parity but the lack of any stuff for men is a bit odd. I normally wear either a shirt and tie or polo shirt to work. I'd love a few nice Mickey polos, especially moisture wicking ones since most polo days I hit the gym or pool at lunch.
They used to have a nice variety of ties but recently they have had a rack of 4 or 5.
You know who does buy clothing though, the parents of boys. We may not buy as many costumes as parentspof girls but shirts, hats, and shorts? Yep. As much as the marriage of parks and merchandising kind of annoys me I'm hoping at least there will be a bit more research and better offerings.
App just now saw in a second place they are discontinuing twenty-eight and Main due to it not selling well
Haven’t been able to confirm beyond those two separate reports but if true that means even less clothing for me

Hopefully one of these days it will occur to someone at Disney that the reason the stuff isn't selling is that it isn't the stuff guys are looking for.
Give us something nicer than a logo t-shirt, something we can wear when we don't want to look like college kids but still want to show our Disney side. And do it at a price that isn't 4 times what comparable non-Disney merchandise sells for.
I think cost is a big aspect as even if I see a polo or something that looks nice, no way am I paying $60 or whatever
So then people don’t buy it and then Disney figures, welp, guys don’t want anything
Definitely. I know I can get a good quality non-designer polo shirt any number of places for about $20. I fully expect a Disney polo to run me $45 and I would be happy to pay that price. But that merchandise just doesn't currently exist. They do have one or two polos with the little embroidered Mickey on it but they are $60. I'm not paying that either.I think cost is a big aspect
Although that probably doesn't work so much in reverse. Not a lot of guys buying Minnie merch. And it’s also irritating that Disney thinks that women only buy apparel with Minnie on it. We want Mickey merch too!
On the app? I'll have to look. Hopefully something other than the plain little Mickey logo. There’s also a couple $45 polos.
My wife always buys men's t-shirts. Women's clothing is primarily designed for fashion. Men's clothing is designed for comfort and durability. The material is typically better quality, not the flimsy sheer stuff the women's shirts are made from. The ladies stuff tends to be the thin stretchy material designed to be form-fitting, and often has a lower cut neckline. The men's stuff is standard t-shirt design with a crew neck and regular fit.I also always end up buying what are labeled as "male style" t-shirts.
