Disney Gift Card Deals

Reports are that it should work because the system allows it but sometimes an employee will not put the transaction through so not always a guarantee. I used BB cards for Disney cards about a month ago in Colorado and it went super smooth. Do you have more than one store you can go too? That might ease your mind if so. Maybe you can make a thread asking about the BB's in your area?

If your really worried buy a candy bar with the gift card.

Okay! I need to start making a ‘plan’ to fund tickets (or in a better world Annual Passes) for the best ‘bang for our buck’.

I presently use Ebates and get cash back with the Chase Unlimited card. I can also get Target gift cards with Chase, so I wondered if a Red Card and gift cards is still a viable option? (I know there’s been back and forth regarding if you can buy gift cards with gift cards etc)

Probably a silly question but can someone explain how the in-store Best Buy thing work with SB for Disney GCs. Do I have to link a card or do I shop online and pick up in store?

Are you asking if you can get the RedCard discount but pay with Gift Cards? If so that loophole for online orders got closed for a while now (more than a year). Can you use your RedCard to get the discount on gift cards, yes: the amount charged to the redcard gets the 5% off but there's no other discounts we've found to stack with that. So unless you are getting a highly discounted Target gift card from Chase (or anywhere, more than the 5%), I don't see any incentive to do that. It would make more sense to get the RedCard discount and then figure out how to use the cashback to reimburse the purchase.
Sometimes folks have made the online order using the RedCard for the discount and went through a cashback portal and they got credit for the shop. I think that's as close to stacking as we've got lately. (But I could be forgetting something)

Shopkicks is advertising 20% off on eBay purchases. It says gift cards are excluded, but if anyone is brave enough to try it anyway, let me know if it works!
It's an Ebay code for 20% off "Everything". It does NOT include gift cards. When I entered the code it told me it did not apply.

I hadn’t done either so I was mostly just asking in general which approach was best! This answers my question though (and I figure the more I can save the better - so time to start working the angle). Thanks you!

update on my purchase of the BB card on ebay. I used Ibotta as my shopping portal since it said 2% back. I got an email late last night that they credited my account. I checked and I didn't receive the 2% (I'm assuming because they were gift cards), but I ended up earning $10 back for their Ibotta Days promo. You earn $5 of every $50 you spend in their mobile shop category. It expires on 3/12 at 2:59 am from what the offer says.

My Ibotta Days offer isn't as good as yours. I have earn $10 for every $250 you spend. Also expires 3/12

So I plan on using the BB gc's my DD27 and I got thru cashstar, tonight. I got the QR codes from my Swagbucks acct (I did using safari on my phone), I saved the QR codes to my photos along with the BB gc. So I'll go to Best Buy, pick up a few $50 Disney gc's. I'll give them a QR code to scan, then the Disney gc,(doesn't matter which order, right?), and then give them my photo of the BB gc. Does that sound all good to go?

Now do many of you do more than one at a time? We are limited in time with only two weeks or less to convert these two $450 BB gcs and then the BB savings codes, to disney. We don't have time to do 18 trips to do one at a time lol. I know one poster said they did 4 or 5 at a time and all things posted as they should.

I just did 3 back to back and got credit for all three. Scan Disney GC, scan QR code, scan BB GC. Repeat. Should be all good to go!

Okay cool! Thank you!!
Sort of a little nervous to try it but sorta excited too, lol, like seeing when these great deals work out!

Cab someone please explain how to get the QR code at BB please?

You can go to SB on your phone, I use safari for my browser on iPhone. I searched for Best Buy, and scroll down the page that comes up. There's a box that shows a sample QR code with a link in there. Click that and it'll bring up a QR code yiu can save to your photos to use in store. Or you can search in SB for Best Buy, On your computer and click on the part that says earn 2% cash back and then scroll down the page for the in store shopping code and click the link there for the QR code that you can print out.

Other dissers shared that info so I'm sharing it now, lol. I did the ones in my phone earlier today and will go use them later tonight.

Awesome! Thanks guys I always cash in SB for BB and have been trying to figure out how to take it a step further and now I know! Haha! Thanks everyone!

I got an email from Fetch - get three people to sign up and receive 9,000 bonus points after they scan their first receipt - 2,000 per person and then 3,000 more when the third person uploads a receipt.

I already got one, with two more in the works. Has to be done by March 11.

Got another email stating I would get 1,000 with my next upload. I will be over $10 soon with these bonuses. Every dollar in free Disney money counts.
