On laptop, go to shop. In search bar, put “Best Buy.” Click on “2% cash back.” On right hand side there is a blue box which says “in-store shopping.” Click “get code.” Print it out and you are set.

Oh wow, thank you so much! I, of course, just kept on hitting 'shop' and got nothing, lol. Now that seems so silly, lol. It says shop now, which is not what I wanted to do, lol. I clicked on the 2% cash back and there it was! So, thanks very much for all your on sharing this great way to get more of a discount, very helpful!

For my total of $900 I went in 4 times altogether over 2 weeks. 3rd time I went in the guy was a pro at it! I should have done all 9 I had left instead of 5. I did 5 in a row. I labeled each QR code in my phone with a number so I did not mix them up. Scan Dis gift card, scan qr code, then scan BB gift card which I also added to photos. 3 different cashiers from 2 different locations did not even bat an eye about doing 4-5 transactions in a row. Swagbucks no issues crediting multiple in a row for the same day as well. I have more concern with swagbucks than Best Buy. I have done SB for a while now and have heard of people getting banned before for random reasons. So I may cash out quicker to be on the safe side this time. But I figure it’s worth the risk over the hassle of going into Best Buy like 9 separate times.

And what's wrong with 5 in a row, who says I'm not getting five different gifts with different receipts, or something, right? Glad SB is crediting easily, as well. I mean, I didn't see any limits or restrictions on it, so it shouldn't be a problem. But, you're right, more worried about the SB side of things than the BB side. Maybe I could do a couple trips at a different BB, and the kids can do a couple locally here, and DD27's DH could do one on the way home from work. That'd be another $90 plus dollars in addition to the $90 promo codes between the 2 $450 gc's. This is so cool, lol! Thanks for sharing your experience!

Thanks for posting this. Went through ibotta for 2% back for ebay and used my Disney Visa for another 1% (I know there's better rewards cards, but I've been saving up our rewards for our merchandise purchases since we can still get 10% off $50+ when we go in May). Going to use Swagbucks and break our purchase down 3 times (DH and I both have BB cards already from cashing out on SB ealier this month). In all we're getting an extra $31ish back for spending $100. Not too shabby I may need to do this a couple more times before our trip.

Yes, I just checked and it is in my J4U Safeway account. I don't use the fuel points, (since Kroger has better options for me), but I am able to use their Grocery rewards, and I particularly like the $6 off Safeway gift cards, which requires 3 rewards. So in this case every $30 best buy card will get me a $6 Safeway card, not bad.
Just want to mention that you have to redeem the reward before it will appear as a selection to use again, but YMMV.

eta: Looks like they reduced the amount of the gift card to $5 using 3 rewards.

I don't think Randall's has "grocery rewards". However, I loaded the coupon to my account and purchased a $100 Best Buy card. I got 1000 fuel points! The Randall's fuel rewards work just like the Kroger program - so that means $1 a gallon off my next fill up at the Randall's gas station. I only know of one Randall's gas station in my area but it's not too much out of my way.

I use safeway gas points and am sure sometime in the last 7 years I signed up for the J4U.

I believe a J4U is required. In my area of the country (Southwest), Safeway introduced a new type of reward in addition to their gas rewards last fall. This new grocery reward, let's you select from a menu of free items and discounts on groceries. Some of the discounts are on Safeway gift cards, and one of them requires 3 rewards, which is the same amount that you would use for .30 off gas. When we were in Disney this past January, Safeway in Florida seemed to only have the gas rewards, so I suppose it is still regional.

Reports are that it should work because the system allows it but sometimes an employee will not put the transaction through so not always a guarantee. I used BB cards for Disney cards about a month ago in Colorado and it went super smooth. Do you have more than one store you can go too? That might ease your mind if so. Maybe you can make a thread asking about the BB's in your area?

Our stores in the Denver area do not do the grocery rewards either. Just the gas rewards. I have a Safeway store around the corner but the nearest Safeway gas is pretty far away. I wish they'd do grocery rewards here.

Yes it works! Just make sure you go back through the link to generate a new QR code for every $50 you want to spend.

update on my purchase of the BB card on ebay. I used Ibotta as my shopping portal since it said 2% back. I got an email late last night that they credited my account. I checked and I didn't receive the 2% (I'm assuming because they were gift cards), but I ended up earning $10 back for their Ibotta Days promo. You earn $5 of every $50 you spend in their mobile shop category. It expires on 3/12 at 2:59 am from what the offer says.
