Also, I just noticed the TV in this room tilts right and left. It's a 65" Samsung (I think, I don't have my ruler handy), what a nice upgrade over what is normally found in rooms like this. This might be the first hotel (resort, sorry.) room I have ever been in with a TV larger than what is actually needed. Normally you find tiny little nothings, here there is this monster up on the wall. Thumbs up.
For at least the renovated room we are in:
@Colleen27 - Physically, yes, they are all right on the side of the TV and easy to access. I can go through them on the menu as well and select them, but as I have nothing to test it with I can't confirm if they are actually usable or locked out by the system. I can't switch to one as it doesn't detect anything plugged in.
@cruise cruise cruise - Yup. They are.
I do see how the bus situation can be miserable here. We just used Bus Stop 4 (riding the bus now as I type this). Magic Kingdom bus took a half hour to come. Second to last stop. It got pretty full. El Centro comes next and last before heading out. By the time it got there room was at a premium. Driver had to stack everyone as close as possible. Any more folks who would have been in line had to wait for the next bus and hope for the best. Ouch. So pro tip: go to stops 1 or 2 to guarantee a spot at peak times. We all made it on so we can't complain but at peak park times that may not be the case.
I have been trying to figure this out also. Looking at the pic of the shower from easywdw's review and this one I just found, I "think" there is a little shelf in one corner. http://www.carfulofkids.com/2017/05/make-disney-dollars-coronado-springs-resort/
@saskdw - might be a 50, I have a bad sense for size. Whatever size it is, it's more than enough.
So, without further ado, here's the video, filmed in ultra hd 4k hdr vr for your viewing pleasure. No it's not, my phone is a 59 dollar potato, but it gets the point across.
Hi everyone! Just looking for a little advice. My DH and I are visiting Coronado in December. It looks as though the resort is completely booked when we are there, which makes me nervous for our chances for a renovated room. I made it our only request when I called over the phone.
I'd like to do online check-in soon. I'm not sure if I should make any requests at all as our only hope is getting a renovated room. What do you think?
I will also fax a room request that states that we would like a renovated room. I know I have read a lot of reviews stating that older rooms were moldy, and I have allergies - would you suggest that I mention this in the room request fax or just leave that out?
Any advice is appreciated!
