BIG BROTHER 19! SPOILER THREAD! "SUMMER OF TEMPTATION"

Mark voting for Josh makes him look so stupid. I actually liked Mark but man, I think he's a 2 bit chump now.

Agreed. Especially after the way Josh treated Mark and the fact that they almost came to blows. I have no respect for most of the jurors.

Even Christmas, who was super close with Josh, voted for Paul. She knew who played the better game.

I wish Paul wouldn't have mentioned getting them to throw the comps. His speech was terrible as were the questions and answered asked of them.

Laughed when Cody said how did that happen when he won. I was saying the same thing he sure wasn't my favourite.

Very bitter jury, Paul knew when it was only Cody's vote he lost.

I like Paul but am kind of glad that he didn't win. I dubbed this season "expect the expected" and it was totally unexpected (for me) when he lost! I totally loved that it came down to Cody's vote. It was like the ultimate revenge for him to vote Josh and not Paul. I cracked up when Julie called Paul a bridesmaid. So true!

I cannot believe this. If Josh had any chance he had to evict Paul. I just don't get it.

I would have agreed totally with this, until I saw the results. What a stunner -- and Paul shaking his head and mouthing "no, not again". He played strategy all the way until jury members -- then he forgot that for everyone he back-stabbed, he lost a vote. Alex was pretty vocal about how she felt, and it was no surprise that Jason voted Josh. I was most shocked that Cody voted for Josh though, and he was the deciding vote (appropriate) -- after all he did to him and Jess, so he must have hated Paul that much.

Alex is just a baby. Out of everyone, Paul backstabbed her the least as he told her before that he wouldn't use his veto on her and he voted for her to stay (meaningless gesture but nonetheless she can't say he voted to evict her). So what would have made her happy? Having Paul take her to F2? Then Xmas/Josh would have been pissed at Paul. No way for Paul to win.

Plus Kevin won the $25,000 at the beginning anyway.
That's right! I always feel bad for the 3rd place person - they don't get anything (other than the same stipend that the jury gets - and at least they get to kick back and relax). So poor Christmas - Josh gets 500k, Paul gets 50k, Kevin gets 25k (and he was fourth place) and Cody gets 25k. Christmas gets the same as Raven.

I just read a good tweet that maybe sums up what just happened: A finalist doesn't lose because of a "bitter Jury," they lose because they failed to manage them properly

Exactly. He managed the whole game and played a heck of a strategic game -- until it came down to who to send to jury and how -- and I think his moves at that point left a lot of jurors mad and hurt. He blindsided many and they weren't easy to forget. While Josh rode through, it is what it is. Neither were a good choice and I think Christmas deserved to win it more than those two -- but she was very honorable about Josh not picking her by saying to Julie she was proud he made such a strategic decision (finally)! Even in Paul's speech, he seemed desperate -- talking at the speed of light and trying to throw every game move he's ever made into it.

Josh forced Paul to tell Alex this, or else he would tell her. Paul didn't want to. He threw Alex the vote to make himself look good.
