Cruises from NYC to Disney World - Fast Pass +

It was good on 7 dwarfs mine train on our cruise last Oct. I can't imagine they would have added that restriction.
Well, when the attraction was new (and a "hot" ticket) it was included. I'm not sure it's not included now. Frozen was also excluded for a period when it was new. Don't know if that's OK now or not.

To go from one park to another park via bus don't you first have to the Ticket and Transportation Center and switch? I didn't think there were park to park direct buses. Example....you want to go from MK to AK...wouldn't you have to board a bus at MK, go to TTC and then get on a bus from TTC to AK?

Also, when I spoke with DCL about FP I was told absolutely no Pandora rides were be included.

This is how I remember it too. Another option would be taking a bus from the park to the nearest resort and then grabbing a bus to the park you want. I.e., AK to Animal Kingdom Lodge to MK.

Why don't you get on the first bus to AK and do standby for Avatar? Then use your FP's at another park.
We are on the first bus to AK, but not sure we want to lose an hour or more waiting on line. I guess we will see when we get there.

We were just there a few weeks ago and we were at Hollywood studios and took a Animal Kingdom bus to Animal Kingdom when we were done at Hollywood. The bus driver said all parks have a park to park transportation bus.

Hi MJ, when did you inquire? I am hearing something different. I want to call but know they are swamped this week. Thanks.

Let's see it was just before I went to Portugal and Spain which was on the 28th of August so about 2.5 weeks ago. I am not on FB but I did see upthread some people got other info. Let me know when you find out!!

I will. It seems like some have been told FOP would be eligible, but my concern is that decision hasn't been disseminated to all CMs, especially the ones in AK at the FOP FP entrance LOL! :)

There are now park-to-park buses. I don't know when that started, but it certainly simplifies things compared to the old system where you had to transfer at the TTC.

That is very good to know...thanks. A bus story.....a few years ago we were staying at Beach Club and were in EPCOT. It was about 100 degrees and since we were closer to the buses than to the boats we walked to the bus depot to get a bus back to the Beach Club. Walked all the way there just to find out that no buses go from EPCOT to Beach Club since you can walk/boat it there. We then had to walk all the way back through the park to back exit.

Glad they have park to park buses.

Hi all! I am considering changing my 10/7 fantasy to this sailing. Trying to research.
So as far as the WDW day...I see you mentioning booking busses. Does that mean I will end up on a late bus? Are they at diff times or all leaving early?

I am on the 10/14 sailing from NY that stops at WDW. Yes, you need to book your morning bus from the port to a park of your choice. For example, we booked the earliest bus to AK. Fellow cruisers who have booked their bus to AK are on later buses as the 7:15 time slot is no longer avail and probably full. The person I know of is on an 8:30 bus.

Is this what you meant about being on a later bus?

That service ended on August 23.

The Express transportation from within the parks ended in August. That had been offered for an extra cost and avoided going through security again at the next park.

However, there is still park-to-park transportation available from outside the parks. It requires going through security again. Someone upthread posted various transportation options available (for free) depending on which parks are involved:

There is park to park transportation. I found this on the WDW site:
  • Magic Kingdom park and Epcot are connected via monorail.
  • Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios are connected via boat.
  • Magic Kingdom park and Disney's Hollywood Studios are connected via bus.
  • Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park is connected to the 3 other theme parks via bus.

That service ended on August 23.
Not the same thing. The extra-cost express bus service that was being trialed was terminated. There are still park-to-park buses available at the bus stations at the front of the parks.

We did frozen last Oct. too. On last years cruise there were no ride restrictions for the fast passes. I hope for all of you going this year the same will be true. (And in my opinion I think it's likely there will be no restrictions for you either)

The earliest bus times are taken for MK and AK, I believe, but I can check if this is important for your booking decision. Last year, I had no idea you could or should book the busses in advance and got tickets from Guest Services on the night before WDW and was able to get on a 7:30 bus to HS. Like a lot of other things, they may hold back some slots. if you're flexible where you want to go, I think you'll be fine. They are anticipating essentially the entire ship going from PC to WDW, so even though you sign up for a 7:15, 7:30, 8 am slot, etc., they start filling and running the busses continuously as soon as they are filled at the start of the day. I would not be too worried about getting "shut out" of good times.

Not specifically about Fast Pass but when I was just checking on our "port adventure" (bus time to EPCOT on Disney day) from the ship it would only let me pick my husband and myself and not my DGD2 to go. Is it because she is 2 and doesn't need to be listed? Said something like choose eligible guests below and her name was there but not highlighted. Any one else with a young one have that issue?

I believe it would be like the DCL transfers - under 3 doesn't have to pay. The theory being that they will be a "lap baby", and not take up a seat.
