They are banked so I should be good :). We used *************-it posted on their FB page and never on the site itself. Edited to add: I bet I should have listed this as 0 2016 points and 200 2017?

@panygal, should I edit this contract? Thanks!

Yea we had thought it would only take a couple weeks since that was the trend. 35 days later here we are. The holiday probably set them back a little bit. Not much we can do but wait and hope it's good news. Hate to keep bothering my broker about it since they aren't the ones holding it up.

35 days!? When did your contract say you'd close? That's so many days :-(

(Edited) I just remembered you'd said September close before. Sorry! I hope you get good news soon!!

Got submitted to Disney on 6-5, broker said they get an email back from Disney when it actually gets into rofr, that was 7 days later though, normally 3 from what they said. Estimated closing date is 9-23 I think.

ywgckp---$89-$25126-275-BWV-Dec-141/16, 275/17, 275/18- sent 7/10

I am hoping to use points for our annual spring break trip at the end of March - 7 month window starts last week of August. Seems unlikely we'll be done by then but fingers crossed.

I'm not as important as @pangyal or anything, but I'd say it's fine just as it is :)

That's a really good deal on BWV. Fingers crossed on that one going through!

That seems like a good deal. I originally wanted an AKL contract but couldn't find one in our budget since they were all asking $90's or low 100's

You have 10 days to rescind a contract. If you can manage the patience, I'd do that and hold off for what you really want. You'll own it for many years; you don't want to regret buying somewhere other than where you really want (and it's the only way to have a shot at AKV club level from what others have stated.)

It is a seller's market right now, but in a few months there will be a lot more available as it gets close to time to pay dues.

Good luck either way.

Thanks, but we have stayed at both and we think we will just keep the one we have. We aren't too particular about resort and the lower MF will be nice over time

I'm just curious....10 days from what day? The days were all different. The broker sent me the contract one day. I signed same day. The seller signed the next week. Then a few days later it was sent to ROFR. At what point is it too late for anyone to change their minds without penalty?

My contract said I had 10 days after I signed it.

Well turns out our contract got lost or magically disappeared. Got originally submitted 6/5 who knows what happened, but got resubmitted 6/26. So 3 weeks went by for nothing. I think buying our first house was easier lol.

Yikes! How did they find out? Did your broker have to call?

Oh no!! At least it's already been resubmitted? But how frustrating that it happened AND that no one told you for weeks!

Well that was an interesting few hours...Lost contract or what not, broker has Disney fast track it or something, boom passed!!!!
