Those using swagbucks ???

Help! I redeemed or a gc a few minutes ago and it took the sb but I never got the page to verify and I never got an email to verify. I thought there was somewhere else I could go to verify but I can't find it. Is there or do I need to submit a ticket?

Exact same thing happened to me today. I redeemed for a gc, the SB were taken, but I got no opportunity to verify and no email. First time that's ever happened. After seeing that the same happened to you, it seems there must be a glitch on their end somewhere. I went to Order Status, clicked on Not Verified, and verified it there.

This happened to me the other day and I also had to go into Order Status to verify.
 
Happy hour right now for 10SB! You have to keep your mouse on the page but it isn't a very long one really.


Also has anyone else been having a hard time getting discover offers to credit? I've had this problem for 3 days now.
 
I redeemed for a $25 gift card this morning. I noticed when I did that it now gives you the option to verify via e-mail or answer a security question. I chose e-mail and immediately received my e-mail, and then also received another e-mail when I had verified. I haven't redeemed in a couple weeks so maybe I'm behind the times with that info, but perhaps they were updating some of that yesterday and caused the issues.
 


THats how mine has always worked with those choices. I always verify By a security question, works well, so I don't think it's new.

Interesting, I swear I've never had that option come up for me before. Hopefully they get my Target GC out soon so I can pick up another Disney GC!
 


I've always had this option as well. I verify right then by security code. I'll be cashing out for $25 later today and can report back on any changes I see.
 
My account was reactivated!!!

Again WARNING: Beware of using multiple tabs/ browsers. You might get shut down, too.

A week ago yesterday I was deactivated and immediately sent an email, which they didn't respond to. I waited a week (Help Center says it can take up to 5 business days.) Yesterday morning I sent another email and a private fb msg. When I still had no response at 2:30pm, I posted publicly to their wall. They commented back that they are working on it. Very soon after that, I got an email back. This is what it said:

"Thank you for taking the time to write in regarding your Swagbucks.com account.

After careful review by our Compliance team, this account was closed for violating program terms in respect to our Watch/video services available on Swagbucks.com.
This closure may be a result of, but not limited to, running multiple activities simultaneously, using unauthorized third party software, using browser add-ons not associated with Swagbucks.com, or any viewing methods meant to exploit our video services or circumvent advertisements.

Any Swag Bucks and Rewards remaining in a closed account are automatically forfeited.

We regret having to take such actions, but to continue to provide services and rewards to our members, Swagbucks takes appropriate steps, up to and including deactivation of user accounts, for violations of program terms.

So my account was gone, along with all my gift cards, sb, and the opportunity to ever use sb again. I quickly emailed back explaining that I had no idea I was breaking any rules. I had looked around their website and not been able to find guidelines for using the videos. I asked them to be more clear so I could understand the rules, and to please reactivate my account.

It only took about an hour, and they responded:

"Your account has been flagged by our Compliance systems for nCrave viewing irregularities.

To keep your account in good standing, please refrain from using any unauthorized viewing methods. These methods include, but are not limited to, the use of multiple tabs or browsers, unauthorized third party software, using browser add-ons not associated with Swagbucks.com, or any viewing methods meant to exploit our video services.

We have gone ahead and reactivated your account as a one time courtesy.

Any pending Rewards are now approved but your account will be monitored to make sure it is in compliance with our Terms of Service.

Thank you for using Swagbucks.com."

So I'm back up and running!! All my rewards and points are still there. It even gave me the referral points from my husband's account that had kept running through the week. I sent sb another email:

"Thank you!!!
Just so I'm clear on what I'm not allowed to do, I have a question. When you say not to have multiple tabs or browsers open, do you mean with ncrave videos, or all sb videos, or any sb activity at all? Can I search sb or take surveys while a video is running?"

They replied:
"The intent of Swagbucks is for our members to be actively engaged in any offer or activity and to have sincere interest when completing or viewing them.
This is why advertisers promote on our site and why we are able to in turn offer Swag Bucks to the community.
Running multiple devices at the same time is not considered active engagement in any activity.

That is why we let our members know that if you are looking to engage in multiple earning opportunities on our site, to please do each activity with your full and undivided attention."

Guys, all I had done was run 2 videos on one account at the same time. Maybe it was the type of videos that flagged it. I don't know. I was usually running ayce and Dis TV playlists together.

Just be careful. I lost a week of sb time, and almost lost it all for good. But I am so happy to have it back!!
 
Long story short, they have no clue why your account was flagged. I have been running multiple tabs and browsers for years and nothing has happened. You really just shouldn't be doing more than one of same type of activity at the same time.

Hell, they once made me email compliance before they would release a gift card because of my SBTV viewing (the main site one not mobile). They told me I was taking advantage of SBTV (whatever that means, never got an answer on that). I emailed them back and told them I hadn't run TV in close to six months. They had no reply for that when I told them so. Just a "our mistake" and got my gift card within a few days.

Yes its been near impossible to get discovers for several days

I second this!! I've been running swagbucks in two or more browsers simultaneously (as well as running apps on my phone) on a daily basis for quite while now. I would imagine the issue wasn't so much with that in itself. I believe the problem stems from folks running multiple activities of the same type at once, as in running 2 ncraves in separate tabs or browsers at the same time.

Now let's just hope I didn't jinx myself and wake up to a deactivation in the morning....LOL.

"It could be due to and error in the survey set-up, survey being performed in an external system or a momentary break in your internet connection. Once the survey has been close, the correct status will be applied to your account, but please allow one to two weeks for this to take place."

I submitted a ticket, because I am not taking a chance that someone will notice in 1-2 weeks that they didn't credit me. I hope that this is not the direction that surveys are headed in! They are already too much work for not enough pay.
 
I am so glad you got your account back! i always run multiple tabs and browsers and never had a problem. hopefully no one gets their account deactivated!!

thats happened to me, contacted them 5 days ago, no response.
 
Just cashed out my gift card. I noticed the layout is different, but the prompts are exactly the same as what I've always had.
 
Long story short, I had some money in my PayPal account and used it to buy a physical Disney gift card from the Disney Store. I went through Swagbucks because I was also ordering a few things for our upcoming trip. I noticed a few days later I was being credited for my entire purchase. I skeptically waited until the pending points were actually released to see if Swagbucks would actually be awarded for the gift card part of the purchase. Much to my surprise, it was. Figured I'd push my luck to see if it would work with just a physical gift card order. Again, waited the 30 days to see if it would credit the Swagbucks and it did! While it says gift cards are not included in the rebate, I guess because they're delivered, it's not picking up that they're gift cards and I'm assuming they just think it's a regular purchase. I've placed three solo gift card orders and they've now all been processed and I received Swagbucks. While buying them at BJ's is still a better discount, they don't accept PayPal, so it was great to find that I'm saving some.
