We lucked out and ended up getting 11/27-12/3 at CBR, but we got put in the pirate rooms. Anyone have any thoughts on these? From what I've read, the beds are smaller and the location is distant (but we couldn't pass up the cost savings!).

I'd be fine with a pirate room at this point. With the foodcourt and giftshop etc being ripped apart, I want to be as far from the construction as possible, and the Pirate rooms are the furthest.

I believe it is. Also you have to pay in full before booking I'm pretty sure.

Well, I actually think the QS in Norway is fabulous...it's my favorite place to eat a QS...I go more than once every trip.

Anyone was able to grab POP standard for Dec10-21? I was able to grab Standard Pool View but I don't like the noise of the pool. Trying to change to Standard.

I've now joined the July thread, since that's when I'm going. But....this whole experience with you guys has been a definite learning opportunity. We have a strategy all planned for next year based on all I learned in here. Thanks to everyone for making this experience so exciting! Getting ready to cruise next week...just a little distraction until Disney end of July. I'll continue to stalk, to see what folks got a "yah hoo" for their dates....and will definitely be looking for next year's thread.

Did I just have a bad experience here? I love atmosphere and thought it would be a no brainer lunch spot (had been to dinner in 2012 and didn't care for it) but all of our food was cold. Especially the fries. Was this just a one off? We will have a 3 QS to use at MK and so far I've planned CHH, PB, and Casey's.

I have never been impressed with the food. We've done breakfast and lunch multiple times. But I do appreciate a quick service option to get us in the park before opening, so we will always have at least one breakfast here per trip!

I couldn't find room at POP for the 16th- 23rd but if I moved my dates to the 17th-25th there are rooms. So maybe POP is fully booked for the promo on the 16th

We have never had problems with cold lunch at BOG, and we have probably eaten there 8+ times. But, we tend to get a lunch reservation around when they start serving at 11am, so that could be the difference?? We did not like breakfast there, it was cold and just not good. All three of us hated it.

So I was able to call yesterday and get the lowdown on if the miltiary discount ws better or if I coudl get free dining (which wasn't showing up online as available)

after ebign onhold for 30 minutes (time quoted was 15 and that made me laugh) i got the SWEETIST CM and after a few minutes on hold with her, she had the quotes and the low down for me (FD ended up being cheaper overall - FYI)

The thing that got me the most was that she was slightly in tears when I said things liek "i'm not worried about the wait" or "thank you" - just being poliet - she stated that I was the FIRST nice person that she had talked to during her shift - not sure when sher started, but I called at 3:30 CST

So just a reminder that you get more flys with honey that vinegar (i guarantee that is how I ended up with FD since NOTHING was showing up online and was just taking a gamble by calling) - they are trying their hardest to get through the calls and to the next person

I have 11-19-11-26 CBR in standard with free dining. I haven't cancelled yet. But keep looking, I've seen those dates come up a few more times since I've booked.

If you cancel please let me know and I will look immediately. I am having no luck! Thank you.

I was able to get a pool view room at CBR 12/10-12-18. We have been to POR a couple of times, CSR, and POP. Is there any certain area I should request? I'm thinking I'd like to be close to a bus stop, but know absolutely nothing about CBR. Any advice?

No, my husband and I were not impressed either. He thought the food was terrible. It is nice to see the castle but it is definitely not on my list for the food!

After checking all day yesterday I was able to book CBR with free dining 12/8-12/13 at about 6:30 this morning. This will be our second trip. We stayed at AofA in Nov 2014.
