Curious which resort you think would be the best value for this week?Week after Thanksgiving.
We are a family of two adults and two teens so the value resorts are getting a little small for us now even though we love them. My original plan was to do the Caribbean Beach this time with the gift card offer but if the moderates really do get quick service free dining only it wouldn't be that much difference to go to a deluxe. I really think it depends on your family but if you can fit in the value I would do that.

We are four average-sized adults and I previously ruled out the Value Resorts on hearing that there were only double beds. Anyone have a hard time sleeping in the small beds? Wondering if I am making a mistake ruling them out.

We love POFQ and feel your dilemma. My husband is 6'2" NOT SLIM lol. We enjoyed Music and did NOT like pop at all. I don't think the rooms were very different. Our kids are 12,8 and value rooms were sufficient.
Out of curiosity, why did you like Music and not POP? I would assume based on price alone (since POP is pricier), POP offers a bit more.

We are going Nov 25-Dec 2 also. I always hear week after thanksgiving is awesome. Looked at same week at December you did also- but had 3 separate friends that went that timeframe last year and said was ok until about Thursday then crowds got insane
That is one of the things I was worried about with it being so close to Christmas

We have always felt leery about staying at any of the All Stars but after reading so many positive comments during the last few pages, it may be worth trying....What didn't you like about POP and what did you like about Music?

I know Pop seems to get a lot of love, but we actually much prefer the All Stars! We've stayed Pop, Movies, and Sports. And my sons are actually at Music with a band trip as we speak!

Seems that a lot of the negative posts about the All Stars have to do with them sharing buses and Pop being dedicated. Well, in actuality they only share buses at "off" times. You won't get that at park open and close--they'll have their own buses. On the other hand Pop has a TON more rooms than any of the single All Stars and all those people are lined up for that same set of Pop buses. Looking at the lines at the parks, the Pop line is always huge!

We found the Pop food court to be chaotic, loud, busy all the time. The All Stars less so.

If you have a preferred room at Pop, it's not bad. But if you have a standard room, some of those can be a long way from the bus stop or food court. All Star resorts are just smaller in general.

Rooms are basically the same at any of them.

thought so, so what is best way to hook connecting/adjoining what type is room placement?

That's a great question. If you have the time to read back a bit, there is a TA here who says she can get the connecting rooms guaranteed, but I don't know how she does it. You'll definitely have to call at some point, but for us, it's always been noted on the reservation, but not guaranteed.

I've learned so much reading all of these posts - thank you. We are checking in 8/19 staying at the Beach club. If it turns out that the free dining for the general public doesn't start until 8/21 but Visa cardholders start on 8/13, will I be able to modify our reservations online or will I have to wait until 7am to call?

Here is the one I found and am thinking of buying for him. We will have a stroller but when he is not in it is what I am worried about. He now likes to think he is independent and do what he wants.

I lived in FL for 2 years and went to WDW a couple of times in December & January on top of that. Nov-Dec-Jan-Feb are absolute paradise as far as I'm concerned. 70-80 degrees and sunshine. It will get cold at night on occasion. Being from the north I was, like, yeah, ok, whatever. Let me tell you something. When it gets down below 45 at night that's a whole new kinda cold! So be prepared for that. It doesn't happen often but it does happen. You're gonna live it.
I'm originally from the north as well so I'm pretty good with the cold but I'll definitely pack sweatshirts just in case. 70-80 degrees sounds awesome

Hi everyone. I have been away for a few hours just read up. looks like I am sticking to the plans and will upgrade the qs meals. All math works out best that way. Now I have seen some say midnight east coast.
so my nap times may need to be changed or I just need to stay up really late. heheh

Love it! I would have used these on my kiddos when they were young. Better safe than sorry!

I really hope I can get FD at CBR lol. I am booked now and it would be the best option.
Even if I get RO and i have my tickets 25% off FD is the best deal. If exchange wasn't so bad I wouldn't care so much

Has anyone gone the weekend and week leading up to Thanksgiving? (Thursday week before/ leave the day before). We are booked 11/16-11/22. I was trying to get an idea of what crowds may be like.

Thank you. That is VERY helpful. Which All Star is your favorite and why? Years ago someone posted that the walls are paper thin and you can hear babies crying all night long, hence the reason we ruled them out. Maybe it's time we give those resorts a try especially because we are not in love with the new murphy bed situation coming to Pop....

We have another person looking to go with us to Disney. we're going reguardless of free dining. should i modify now wait till Monday?

Advice...
DS tuns 7 while there so we are thinking MK that day. Crystal Palace breakfast, QS lunch, Pirates League (his request), BOG dinner? Would this be a fun 7th birthday, other than the ovbious fact that we will be at Disney?
