***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

Wow, we are ridiculous!
And yes, DH and I are not only tall, we're both, shall we say, "pleasantly plump"...so we could take up some serious space if we wanted to. Plus, I get super aggressive if people are in my personal bubble. That combined with my resting "B" face, and DH says no one will look twice at me laying down on a sidewalk as I glare at them.

You sound like someone awesome to travel with at WDW, then!!!

I got an ADR for my ENTIRE party of 9 for H&V!!!! I'm so excited!
Here's the problem:
It's during jibjab. . Which, is what I was expecting...thought after that came out, people would be cancelling.
So....now I have to decide.
But honestly, I was going to have to decide anyway bc our split ADR is at 5:50, and I don't think we can do a character dinner and be to the show in less than an hour. But my new ADR also means we definitely won't make F! Again...I had it in my head we probabaly wouldn't make it anyway.

so....ugh....decision time: H&V, which I have been waiting for for months and months? Or jibjab dessert party?

Did we decide if we thought it was possible to watch jibjab and still make it to F!? I'm thinking it's probabaly not.

Oh man, that's a tough one. We did determine there's no way to see JibJab and F! in the same night, unless for some reason Disney adds a second show of one of those nights. Did you try looking for split parties for H&V?

I think I'm down to:

- Finalizing our dinner at H&V on 12/9. Right now I've got a 4:35pm F! pkg and then a 5:50pm regular ADR. Thinking 5:50pm is pushing it, so I'll probably drop that and the F! pkg if I can find something around 5:00pm instead. I've got the reservation finder looking for that. It buzzed me at 4:30 this morning with a 6:30 time, and I literally said out loud (to no one but my dog) "I can't possibly be at H&V at 6:30! We have the jibjab!!!)

- Still have the reservation finder looking for a later BOG time, but I can be happy with 5:05pm if I need to. We have a really early start that day with the tour at 8:00am, so we may be on a early eating schedule anyway.

- Like everybody else, hoping for Rivers of Light. Will probably give up my pm safari FP if they do become available. If not, we'll wing it. I didn't plan an ADR for our AK night, so we've got plenty of wiggle room.

- Need to book my offsite family's pre-party FPs when they reach 30 days. Think that's Nov 6th. Will adjust ours to match if I can't get the same ones.

- Need to order our skirts and tights for MVMCP once I see how our shirts turn out (they'll be here tomorrow! Yay!). We wanted to do one of us in a red skirt with green striped tights and the other in a green skirt with red striped tights. I already have these on my "wish list" on amazon. I just wanna make sure it'll look right with our shirts first. Kinda depends on how far down our logo and names on the front go.

OMG, I love the skirt idea!! If I wasn't worried about everyone seeing my goodies while sitting on the curb I'd do that too. As it is DH is grumbling because he says he knows I'm going to make him wear something "stupid." I told him to get over it.

Wow,that is sad and depressing! I'm staying at AoA, but have a feeling I won't go out of my way to have a drink at The Drop Off. DH may be happy about the beer though; he loves Kona Longboard.

Last night I stayed up until 1am making us personalized shirts on Zazzle.
I made myself one that is Rapunzel themed and says "Best Day Ever",
and made DH and I matching shirts with Donald and Daisy that say "Donald is my homeboy" and "Daisy is my homegirl". I hope they come out okay! For $70 for 3 shirts they'd better or DH will kill me!

Of course it's ok. Anybody can add their info to the spreadsheet and set up new pages in it for things. I just created it. It belongs to our group here, not just me.

I added my Epcot dessert party for 12/2. Can I just say. . .wow! Impressive set up. I thought I was organized and/or compulsive, but you have all shown me I have much to learn, Jedi Masters.
And my boy no longer uses a sip cup, but does have some high capacity water bottles. . . just sayin'. . .

Haha, our tights look like they're opaque at the top. The stripes on the red ones stop at the top of the thigh and the rest of the top is just solid red, so I'm hoping between that and the fact that the skirts I picked out are right at the knee if not slightly below and they're quite voluminous (think 1950s), that I can sit pretty gracefully. If not, I do have a pair of bike shorts I could throw underneath. I can't be worrying about flashing anybody getting into my rocket on space mountain either!

Well, to be fair they did have cheaper options, plus I had to get bigger sizes for DH. With the promo code they have on their site it came out to about $20 per shirt.

so now that I am 45 days away (and it's all about me) and we are over 10k posts... how is everyone doing on their planning? Why don't we check in on things you are still hoping to get/score/change.

For me, besides RoL, I am all set. I have changed my FP+ more than I thought I would but I think I've changed it as much as I reasonably can. I dropped all of my CP backups when JibJab dessert party was released. The one thing nagging at me a bit is EMM, the reviews are SO good but I really just can't fit it in except on my "rest and 'Ohana" day. I do have a backup 'Ohana for another day in case i go crazy and book EMM but with my two PP and 7DMT FP+ I think I should be good. Also in play for me is the dessert party during MVMCP but now leaning toward dropping it again, lol.

what are you still working on/looking for/thinking about?

Hi. My head hasn't been in the Disney game for about a week because of work and now I am at home trying to catch up on admin stuff. (Also, DH is home with a man cold). But let me think what's still happening:

- I need to drop my excess ADRs
- Trying to get JibJab dessert party for 12/3
- Trying to decide if we should drop DD's pirate cruise from the Yacht club. I've confirmed it's no longer pirate camp (and for those that have seen my FB profile picture you know DD loves pirates). We have time for it in the schedule, but I'd rather have pool time in the morning and/or head to MK early that day. However that will be a LATE day as it's non party night. (Also! It may have been discussed and I may have missed it so I apologize in advance BUT is anyone going to be watching the fireworks on 12/7?)
- Debating about getting the dining plan (I did a preliminary calc and we're ahead $50 if we get the dining plan. BUT that didn't take into account splitting meals and the fact that I'll often order 2 aps instead of a main for dinner etc. I'm leaning towards not because then we will just eat what we like and not worry if it's "covered" by the plan.
- Finalize touring plans. Does anyone know if they've loaded the FP for PFH yet?

Otherwise I feel like I have a pretty good handle on things. I've got one more crazy weekend ahead where I have an all day conference and then possibly another night shift but after that I'm going to be concentrating on my rebrand of my company and finishing up some professional certifications. I promised myself I wouldn't take on any clients in December as that is vacation and Christmas (and rebrand stuff). So I can pay more attention to planning.

I'm stoked that I have my Disney shirts - I have an Alice shirt, a Cheshire Cat shirt (that says "We're All Mad Here"), an Ariel shirt, a Stitch shirt, A Star Wars shirt (that I was going to wear to the party, RIP). I also have a cute Cheshire cat print dress and a Stitch fashion scarf. DD has an Inside Out shirt, a Belle shirt (that I just bought her as a surprise), Ariel sunglasses, and the cutest Minnie ears ever....I would post a pic but don't know how to.

12/9. It's been too long now. I dropped it probably an hour ago and did just like I did with the CP swapperoo. I booked something else to make it kick right back in, but even after 20 minutes of me obsessively checking, it never popped back up to book. Oh well, still got lots of time. That will be my mantra while I mourn my ADR loss!
