BOG Breakfast-How Many Trips Through The Mine?

Do you guys think the Early Morning Magic will be every day though? I'm hoping like the evening one it's just once a week so this would still work on the other 5 days a week (assuming one hotel EMH as well).
If it proves successful, money-wise for Disney, it will expand.

Sun. April 3rd two times after breakfast.
Thanks-good to see it is still "busines as usual".

It will be interesting to see how/if Early Mornings affects the early rides(on both Early Morning days and non-Early Morning days.

Thursday, April 7th - once after breakfast (yes, I went again! I wanted more pictures in a nearly empty park!). They opened the park a few minutes earlier than they did on the Sunday, and weren't letting breakfasters ride 7DMT like they had on the Sunday. We were standing in the FP+ line, just watching the gate crowd roll in. Wow. It was crazy!

Does anyone have a report on how BOG Guests were "handled" in accessing SDMT this AM?

Were you allowed to ride with the EMM Guests, allowed to ride just ahead of the Maingate line or made to wait for the Maingate line?

Thanks!

Easywdw is reporting "They let them go through the standby line right at 845am so you would still get a ride in before those headed in from the main entrance."

Thanks, that is what I anticipated happening, but with Disney, you never know.:)

We were there Sunday and they held us (coming from BOG) until the announcement was made that the park was open then led us through the line starting then. So we got one ride in but definitely no chance of getting a second one (the queue was full by the time we got off) or even getting to Peter Pan ahead of much of the crowd (we probably waited about 15 minutes by the time we got there). I was wondering if they were preparing for Tuesday and the EMM's and this would be the new "normal".

Had an 8:05a res on Mon 4/18. We got in line for 7DM right after we ate. We were second in line which was cool. They didn't let us on until the park opened.

By the time we got done with our first ride, the rope drop crowd had arrived. It probably would have only been a 5 min (or so) wait if we had hopped back in line. But we opted to head over to PPF instead before that standby line got too long.

Our pre park opening res was definitely worth it because:
BOG is a very cool place and it wasn't very crowded; we got to wander around the Castle area and get some pics with little to no crowds; we didn't have to deal with the rope drop madness and were one of the first to board 7DM.

I agree that it's still worth it just to avoid the chaos of RD, see BOG, and ride 7D once (and be set up already inside Fantasyland after that ride) ahead of the crowds. We're local and go frequently when we have guests. If they start not letting Pre-RD guests go to 7D first then maybe not based on how much prices have risen for breakfasts (yes, we already just get kids' meals). We've had some really bad experiences at BOG breakfasts in the past (like being first in line, having pre-ordered, and still waiting more than 30 minutes for our meals) but Sunday went really smoothly and we were out waiting for 7D by 8:20 so as long as it stays that way we'll continue to bring visitors there!

I was wondering the same thing... they have this early morning experience on Tuesdays and Saturdays... and those are the 2 days we have booked to rope-drop MK! RIght now i have 8 am BOG reservations, and I was trying to figure out if it was worth it or if we should just move our park days around.. but then that involves the hassle of moving other ADRs and FPs around too. :(

But if we can get kids' melas and ride Mine Train first and then hop over to Peter Pan with a short wait, then I guess it's still worth it.

Did you rush your breakfast? What time did you get in line for 7D?

Interesting...so you weren't allowed to ride early as of last week? I wonder if they are going to stop that practice so that they can hype the exclusivity of the EMM.

Saturday 1/23 Two rides, and could have had three, but wanted to get a short line for Peter Pan.

Correct. There was a CM stationed at the 7DM entrance politely informing folks that "The park is not opened yet". We asked if she knew when we could ride 7DM and all she would tell us is that we could ride it once the park opens. We got on the ride well ahead of the first wave of rope droppers arrived and that's all I really wanted/expected.

EDIT: I'll add that I don't know if they've stopped letting folks ride 7DM prior to park opening altogether. That's just how it worked the day we were there.
