Argh. I'm hoping that there aren't so many people already booked that they decide not to do free dining. Anyone else holding out?

Everyone in the room must have the exact same package.
If he has his own room the minimum is normally 3 night stay with a minimum 2 day park ticket.
Someone correct me if I am wrong

There is really no pattern. If the rumor is correct May 1 is a Thursday and they seem to release Thursday, Monday & Wednesday.

We stayed at the Beach Club last September with the FD and it was TOO much food!!! I couldn't believe the waste we had - it really was appalling. Dessert at every meal, etc. We also were rushed to make our ADRs and almost missed a couple (we were having so much fun!!). The worse though was our ADR at Be Our Guest on an evening of MNSSHP. They had to escort us OUT of the park like criminals! No one told us this would happen - I should have planned this ADR better and went the night we went to the MNSSHP. That all said, whew...we are interested more in the Room only discount (we are also considering APs). Does anyone know what the discount would be for GF or Poly?

Thank you for the updates black562. Not sure how you get the voodoo magic inside info, but you sure seem to know your stuff! I am anxiously awaiting the FD to book a stay for my daughter and myself. My DV has not arrived yet, but I want POP so my understanding from the pros here (this is only my 2nd trip) is that POP doesn't sell out and I should be able to book early Sept when it opens to the general public.

The likely dates included are:

So any date that is not showing on this list would be the blackout dates.
However, Disney can always tweak these dates before it is actually announced. Especially if everybody starts booking prior to the release.

We always book room only too. I "think" they come out the same day but I'm not 100% sure. I'm waiting for the discount to come out so that I can stack it with an Orbitz code.

I hear this a lot about the FD. We've taken advantage of FD about 3-4 x and I agree what is "included" as free IS too much so I see the point being made. My answer is to be aware of how much food you actually want to eat and don't order any more than that. Just because it's *included* doesn't mean you are forced to order it or forced to eat it! Eat the way you would eat if you were paying for it and ENJOY the fact that it's FREE! You won't get penalized if you have un-used credits on your account at the end of your stay. I hate wasted food as well (that's how I was brought up) So we just don't order more than what our party can eat.... free or not!
I'll use this illustration. If you were given a free upgrade from a mod resort to a deluxe, you wouldn't turn it down bc "it's too much resort!" thinking, "I'll never have the time to take advantage of the spa, the gym, all various dining choices and that big, fancy pool!"

Call when the deal goes live to see if it can be applied to your existing reservation. It may be necessary to switch room types or resorts if there is no availability under your current room type.

Where do you find the Orbitz code? After you use the code, is your RO reservation usually cheaper than what you'd get from calling Disney directly?

Do you still get magic band then since it's still a Disney resort even though it's booked through Orbitz?
