Free Dining Oct-Dec Is Here!!

You can still do ADR's 180 days out with a room reservation. Its 190 days with a room reserved. I've never had any problems getting the ADR's I want at the 180 day mark. I had my ADR's made over a month before I booked our trip this year.

Some people have had trouble with BOG at 180. See http://**************.net/2013/07/09/why-you-cant-get-be-our-guest-reservations-even-at-180-days/

I didn't doubt you would be. It is a very fine 16 year aged single barrel bourbon...so we should go down the tubes quite gracefully.

Heck no!!! You want to get blazed fast get YAMAZAKI.....It's expensive at about $120 per bottle but you will get a contact drunk off the scent....not a drop needs to touch your tongue!

I'm sure this has been answered somewhere in this massive thread but darned if I can find it...so I'm sorry for asking but..

I have a package reservation with a $200 deposit on my Discover. I have a Disney Visa. I don't want to cancel and rebook IF FD comes out to Disney Visa holders - can I just leave my deposit on Discover and apply a certain amount on my Disney Visa towards the reservation? Does this have to be done in $200 increments? I'd really like to put as little as possible on my Disney Visa - so can I throw $50 on the DV to get the discount?

Thanks and GL on this promo everyone - and thanks for all of the inside scoop from those willing to share their time and knowledge.

There's no reason to become alcoholics yet. A promo is coming it just didn't happen today. Iv been looking at this most of the day today and I'm at a loss for words on the behavior of some of the posters here. Totally undisney like. Yes, I'm hoping for that fd deal too just like everyone here but my vacation does not depend on it. I just need to keep convincing my mother to get up early when I tell her it's time to call.

Doing them one day at a time is half the fun! :thumbsup2

I did all mine in April without a resort reservation. Only took 5 minutes/day at 6AM. I got everything I wanted at perfect times except for BOG and there are a couple of picky eaters in our party that I don't think would like BOG so I am OK with not getting that ADR, we will try lunch.

I got CM, CRT, FP+, CP.

"Yet"? I'm afraid that ship has sailed...

I think at this point, if the sources hold true, we'll be drinking on the first if it happens or drinking if it doesn't. It'll just be a different kind of drinking, depending on the day's outcome.

You could be right about that. I've never cared to eat there so wasn't concerned, but did notice there was never any availability when searching for my ADR's. I know places like Le Cellier are now alot easier to get a reservation at then a couple years ago. I even noticed that Rose & Crown was pretty much wide open in the evenings this time around. Usually the evening bookings fill quick with people hoping for a fireworks view.

I've never bothered with 6am. I do them about 10am with no problems. Actually 6 weeks later now and I can still book almost all the same places.

I think the reason Le Cellier is easier to get is the entitlements of 2 credits.....a lot of people don't think it should be signature....

Okay, again, this FD offer was not "pulled." Disney did NOT pull this offer at the last minute - that is ridiculous. Clearly, the DV FD offer was not supposed to drop until August 1. Disney is a large company with a huge marketing machine and contracts with Chase. These kinds of deals/discounts are in the works for months - commercials being made, mail flyers being printed, etc. Some marketing rep at Disney didn't decide on a whim last night to "pull this deal" or to "mess with social media." Lets use our common sense here, the DV or GP offer should drop on Thursday.

:thumbsup2:rolleyes1:laughing:

Since there was no FD today I called to see if maybe the mouse finally got around to sending me my PIN code. Well no such luck she tried every member of my household every address that I've ever lived and and still nothing. After doing all this she asked me when I was hoping to go I told her Mid November she then told me to "check the Disney website the end of the week I am sure you will find what you are looking for".
So I won't give up yet.
However if Thursday rolls around and still nothing I will be joining Joe and Dave for that drink.

Totally off topic but I have to ask . Is that your picture I see there. Iv been on your site many times and please don't be offended but I pictured you a little different. I don't know if you want to here this but I pictured you as a older balding and a little on the overweight side.:lmao:

That is part of it, but I really noticed the difference when the Credit Card thing started.

Yeah I'm not cracking open the bourbon just yet...I'll hang on until Thursday and will then determine if heavy drinking will be involved. Would anyone care to join me?

:rotfl2:

The strongest thing I drink is a Coke with caffeine. I've never even had a sip of a wine cooler or beer. :rotfl:

Ummm, I'm not sure how to answer this!

Yes, that's my picture, from New Fantasyland in December 2012. Older, check. Balding, yes, but not visible in the shot. But I thought all my readers imagined I looked like a younger James Taylor!!

If you wanna hear my voice too, that's here: http://www.wdwtoday.com/article.php?story=20130613200633660

Edit: I assumed you were talking about the photo on my FB page. My disboards photo on the left is about a decade older!
