~Our August Honeymoon..a whole new World for 2 WDW Veterans~ DONE

I hope I haven't post anyone! I realize it has been a month since I last updated, but I have had a good reason.....


We are having a baby!!!!!


We found out the end of January. We had our first doctor appointment yesterday, and the due date is October 10th! We are so excited!

Another exciting update: we are taking Little Guy to WDW in May! It will be me, DH, Sis, Mom, Dad, Little Guy, and his dad (my uncle). We are DVC members and had enough points, so we are staying in a grand villa at BLT! Little Guy is so excited because he doesn't remember much from his last trip when we went when he was 3.

Congrats all around. I first saw on Memom's thread when you thanked her for the WL wishes. That fountain is magic I tell you.

Congrats on the May trip. I will be there May 10-14.

No, DH and I are flying. Everyone else is driving, but they are staying in Chattanooga I believe. I'm so glad to hear that Mr. Hippo is back!

Congratulations! Oct. 10 is a good day for a baby. DD was born on 10/11...she missed being a 10/10/10 baby by 1 hr. and 47 min!

Day 6 – August 18, 2012

Our last day. Boo. We woke up around 7:50 and saw that it had rained in the night. Even though it was our last day, I was excited because this was our Kona morning! Our ADR was at 9, so it was nice to just walk to the Great Ceremonial House and already be there.

We had a young waitress, and she was very excited that we were on our honeymoon. She asked us how long we had been there, then she asked, “So what all have you guys done?” We laughed because that would take forever to answer everything, so we just said, “We have been doing a lot of our favorite attractions and places to eat, but also have tried new things as well.”

I had to order the pressed coffee pot. It is so good! Of course, I had the Tonga Toast!! DH had the ham and cheese omelet, and because it was our honeymoon, our waitress gave us muffins!

Everything was good as usual. We took our time enjoying this meal. We talked about everything we have enjoyed about the trip and anything we wanted to do or see while we were at the MK later.

After we were done eating, we decided to stick around the resort and swim. We were so sad to be leaving the Poly. After swimming for about an hour, the sky started to get dark! We decided to make a run for it and made it to the room just in time! By the time we were done getting changed and ready to go, the rain cleared up. While we waited, we sat on our balcony and said a sad goodbye to our friends.

We decided to switch things up and ride the resort monorail to the MK.

Hearing the “monorail guy” just made me sad that we were leaving. I tried not to think about it too much! Once we made it in to the MK, we decided to head to Tomorrowland and get fast passes for Space Mountain.
