Just popping in, this thread moves too fast for me to keep up with, i missed the whole start of thread #3. lol! but just saying hi!

I agree- i posted on the FB group and other early Nov thread. I really think the FLE will be doing soft openings in late Oct and all through November. Same for BoG- i bet they will do soft at least by mid november, which means they will take walk ups only, no ADRs. just right place, right time! The new video looks amazing and it looks so much more complete than I had anticipated, so i think soft openings are not too far off!:thumbsup2

Does it "snow" again or only at the lighting ceremony? Thanks!
yes, snows all the time. it is like liquid dish soap they use to make the bubbles. even after closing, they still had it going.

well it seems as if they are adding time and not takin it away so that is good
they rarely remove/subtract hours when they change, it is always adding more hours or more fantastmic shows etc. :):thumbsup2

This may have changed because of the new Fastpass system they are working on, but originally I heard that Little Mermaid wouldn't have FP.

WDW in the blog comments the other day said LM would have FP. I believe the other one was supposed to be Belle's storytime.

From my understanding it started on Nov. 9, but the only night it wasn't on was on November 13. I just looked it up on Disneys site.

they are on every night BUT they come on a 6pm and stay on til the park closes at 8. They even stay on about an hour later from what I understand

Good Morning Everyone! :jumping1:
There is a "lighting ceremony" at 6PM each night during which it "snows". Once lit, they stay on, and every so often (I think it's every 1/2 hour) they do the whole "show" where the lights blink in time to music. It's really very cool! Cant wait to see them again!:santa:
ETA: The lighting ceremony is very crowded, and if you miss it, the synchronized lights to music is exactly the same each time. It really thins out after the initial lighting.;)

This may have changed because of the new Fastpass system they are working on, but originally I heard that Little Mermaid wouldn't have FP.
When we were there in Jan 2007 they had a couple of snow machines going the whole time.

Thank you everyone. I'm very excited about this. I didn't even know about the snow and synchronized music. It sounds wonderful! :yay:

ADR cancelation heads-up for the November folks: Monday, Nov. 5, LE CELLIER, 8:45 p.m., 2 people

My children have really big ears!!!!

I was discussing the My Disney Girl Tea Party with my husband. We decided we werent going to try to work that in. Maybe next time.

Today I was considering changing my Chef Mickey's to 1900 Parkfare. So I asked the girls what they would reather do. They picked Chef Mickey's. But my 4 year old says to me "what about that tea party? i want to do that too" Oh well let me see. :scared1: has anyone seen how much that thing is? its laughable even for over priced disney.

I think Im going to have to say no to this one. Or maybe I can get away with booking afternoon tea and just buying her a doll. She doesnt really like Sleeping Beauty that much anyway. I could get her a doll in the charactor that she likes better. Maybe have the doll dropped off at the GF so that it can be presented to her by the resturant staff.

Well I booked the afternoon tea. Not the princess tea just afternoon tea. I booked on the same day I have a Chef Mickey breakfast so now I think I NEED and earlier breakfast for that day. Tea is at 3:20 breakfast is at 8:45. I think that only gives us about 3 hours at MK before we have to leave to get to the tea. This will frustrate my husband I just know it

I just re-checked the blog and it says both Little Mermaid and Enchanted Tales With Belle will have fastpasses.;)

Well I'll be taking a little hiatus from this thread. Why you ask? I'LL BE IN DISNEY WORLD! I leave today! :yay:

Can't wait to hear all about it when you get back. You're probable already on your way by now. Hope you have fun!!:dance3:

I decided to take the plunge and make some dining reservations online today. So I booked a dinner reservation at 1900 Park Fare for 5:30 on Sat 11/24 which is our arrival day. At this point I do not plan to visit any parks that day, just check in at Pop and hit the Contemporary, Poly, and GF to see how they are decorated then maybe watch fireworks from Poly beach. Anyone done the beach watching before? Does it get crowded?

Sunday 11/25 is an Epcot day for us with dinner at 4:40 at Coral Reef as part of our CP with show at 8:15 (I think it's 8:15!). What should we do btwn dinner and the CP show?

Monday the 26 is DHS and we have a 7:00 dinner reservation at Sci-Fi Drive In.

Tues 11/27 is MVMCP. I can't decide whether to try for a reservation anywhere that night or just eat at Columbia House.

Also haven't decided on Wed 11/28 perhaps I should go try Ohana..... or Boma?

Isn't all the planning so much fun???? Still have 84 days to go, and dont know what else I could read, review , or change. Hmmm, I'll come up with something.
Have to admit I am already checking on prices for Dec 2013, possibly a solo trip. Guess I could start thinking about that.
You guys are the best, because you let me post about my obsession, and no one else I know wants to hear me talk about it anymore!:lovestruc

We are at DHS on that day too! We have sci-fi after Fantasmic and Osbourne lights. Are you planning to see Fantasmic? or the lights?

We have MVMCP on the 27th too. We are doing dinner at Whispering Canyon Cafe and riding the boat back to MK. Maybe try LTT, Crystal Palace or Plaza...if not I would do CHH

We are doing Ohana too and Im excited about that but thats not til Thursday. What about Cape May Cafe and check out the boardwalk??? I hear Cape May is really good!

That sounds so cute! Do they know these are their costumes? Love the theme!

Lights at DHS are my main objective this night. so are you doing Whispering Canyon for lunch? What time is your reservation? I am thinking CHH and perhaps no more ADR meals so we can decide what we want to do each day Tues and Wed. We leave on Thurs. with flight at 5:00 so think we will leave with ME around 2:00. Still mulling over what to do then as well. Really kinda hard as I don't know what we will have accomplished and what we will still want to fit in...... so hard.

Decided not to do Cape May Cafe thinking it was seafood and we are doing Coral Reef on different day.

When I say the word "Disney" to my husband I just get the look. Probably because I just randomly start talking about my plan of action for our week.

I am really PRAYING for some soft opening of Fantasyland or BOG the week of 11/3-9. A girl could hope.

Well, I'm a newbie to the Nov traveler. I was Oct until this afternoon when I realized the week I'm going Disney's resorts are almost booked solid. Only a few value rooms and 2 room villas. No way on this side of sanity can I go with that... so, I changed it to Nov 10-17. I'm hoping it's a little quieter. :hyper: Please tell me it's going to be better now that I added 3 weeks to my countdown. :rotfl:

Hi everyone! Just found this thread! :)

We are going Nov. 3 - 18! Staying the 3rd - 11th at OKW and then the 11th - 18th at Poly.

Not that I was wishing away the summer....but we are getting pretty excited that our trip is only 86 days away now!! Yipppeeeee!!! :yay::yay:

Getting so excited for our anniversary trip! I just completely redid all my ADRs too! Why can I not just stick to a simple plan? Lol. So excited to try some new places this time.
