I read this to say,
On December 6th, Disney will have it's "Grand Opening" but it will be open to everyone November 19th and BOG will be serving starting November 20th. So I think those looking for ADR's for Nov. 20 and later should pay close attention around the 19th or 20th of August (90 days).

Woo-hoo! This is the news I was hoping someone would find out. Hopefully I can snag a ressie for the last week of November! How nice to even have a possible date that ADRs "might" be opened up.

I wonder if fastpasses will be up and running by the 19th too (Little Mermaid) or just stand-by lines? I do think those of you going the week before the 19th will still get to see/do more than you might think.

I am cancelling Le Cellier reservations for Friday, Nov 2 at 4:25, if anyone wants to try to scoop them up. Will do in about 3 minutes.

Just saw the list of offerings for F&W I AM SO EXCITED!!! I have Nov 11 and 12 the last two days of F&W scheduled for our Epcot days. I have no ADRs for Nov 11 and a 7:20pm ADR for Nov 12, we are going to try Coral Reef I think the girls are going to LOVE eatting "in" the aquarium. But now that Ive seen the list of food I am so glad I decided not to make any plans for Nov 11 we are going to spend all day eatting!!!

that sounds like a good plan! My perfect vaca would be from the 10th-21st so I get F&W as well as MVMCP and FLE!

I don't know where I saw it now (LOL the perils of forum-ing), but someone mentioned that Attractions Magazine tweeted BOG is going to start taking reservations on the 28th of this month. I hope this is true! I'm ready :dance3:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Side note...my brother just tct me and said he is thinking about *maybe* proposing to his gf at the castle :hug:
Ohhh that would be sooo romantic! I hope your brother goes through with it. It will be something she'll never forget!!!!
My perfect vacay would be early enough for MNNSHP, F & W, and then Christmas decorations....what is that? A month and a half??:confused3 I've always said, if you're going to dream, dream BIG!!:rotfl:
The preview period gives regular park guests a chance to experience the new area and its attractions prior to the grand opening in December. During a preview period, attractions and experiences may experience limited operating hours.
We’ll begin accepting reservations for Be Our Guest in late August for guests who wish to dine after Nov. 19
I take that to mean that the AP preview will be before Nov 19 & that the regular park guess preview period starts Nov 20! Sounds good to me!:cool1::woohoo::yay::dance3:
I hope there will be a soft opening for the rest of the non-AP people from the 20th on!
We will be in DHS on Wed. Nov. 28th. Can someone please tell me if the Spectacle of lights is on all night or only for special hours? Thank you.
From my understanding it started on Nov. 9, but the only night it wasn't on was on November 13. I just looked it up on Disneys site.
they are on every night BUT they come on a 6pm and stay on til the park closes at 8. They even stay on about an hour later from what I understand
Good Morning Everyone! :jumping1:
There is a "lighting ceremony" at 6PM each night during which it "snows". Once lit, they stay on, and every so often (I think it's every 1/2 hour) they do the whole "show" where the lights blink in time to music. It's really very cool! Cant wait to see them again!:santa:
ETA: The lighting ceremony is very crowded, and if you miss it, the synchronized lights to music is exactly the same each time. It really thins out after the initial lighting.;)
Does it "snow" again or only at the lighting ceremony? Thanks!
My children have really big ears!!!!
I was discussing the My Disney Girl Tea Party with my husband. We decided we werent going to try to work that in. Maybe next time.
Today I was considering changing my Chef Mickey's to 1900 Parkfare. So I asked the girls what they would reather do. They picked Chef Mickey's. But my 4 year old says to me "what about that tea party? i want to do that too" Oh well let me see. :scared1: has anyone seen how much that thing is? its laughable even for over priced disney.
I think Im going to have to say no to this one. Or maybe I can get away with booking afternoon tea and just buying her a doll. She doesnt really like Sleeping Beauty that much anyway. I could get her a doll in the charactor that she likes better. Maybe have the doll dropped off at the GF so that it can be presented to her by the resturant staff.
That sounds like a great alternative.
