Pin Swap- Headed back to you!!

I have half my supplies and need to find some cool beads for a few of my groups. While I have not glued any of these yet I did make bead pins for the color swap -- so I know I can do it!

Checking in...I have everything purchased, beads sorted. I hope to get some of these started this weekend or early next week.

I have purchased my beads and finished one group. I'm planning on working on these next week.

I have finished my safety pin groups. Hopefully we'll have sunshine tomorrow so I can take some pictures :)

Thanks for the check in ladies. :goodvibes

I am done with all of my groups but Halloween safety pins. The beads I had bought will not fit on my safety pin! So need to get to the store sometime to spend more money on beads :goodvibes

I need to bow out of the bright group for the safety pins. I have ruined more beads trying to get these put together than I have left. I have shattered beads all over my floor. After spending over $15 on three different sets for this group, I just cannot afford to buy any different ones.

The boy and fall groups are extremely boring, but they are together.

I will work on the hat pin groups now. These should go better since the wires are thinner.

I understand. The safety pins are new to me also and I didn't realize the difference in size between the safety pin and the hat pin. I am not nearly as impressed with my safety pins either. I also had to buy more beads because they didn't fit on the safety pin. I will take your spot.

 Thank you so much!

My DH thanks you too. He put his foot down on buying more beads. I am not to collect these like I do paper or carts. :sad2:

ETA: I had to finally just alcohol dye the ones that did work so there were at least different colors on my fall ones.

Hat pins are much more fun to make than safety pins! Live and learn I guess! I have all my groups done but rustic??

Boys and Disney (For Disney you get one word and one of the red/yellow/stars) I am going to add red ribbon to the Disney one to add a little color.

Michelle those are so cute :)

I'm just about finshed with mine. I'll post pictures when I'm finished.

Here are my safety pins:

Overall I think the straight pins are easier to make. I had to un-bend to get the beads on then re-bend to close and there was quite a learning curve on the glueing :confused3

I hope they're okay :)

Thanks :)
