who made up the transatlantic sign with the parchment backround and Pirate Mickey one side and a pirate on the other with the flags of the different countries we are visiting?

I would like to use the backround and the words with a few addtional flags for my B2B.

Please help!

that was Brooklyn (DIS name, not real name) and she is no longer cruising with us

Thought we may as well jump in. My wife Shanna and I will be leaving on 9/15 and staying at Le Meridien. We are in 6128 on the Magic. Looking forward to seeing all of you.

And :welcome: to to you and your wife too!!! :goodvibes

I did not know that you were a Mac person as well. We changed over to a Mac about 4 years ago and I have not looked back since. Unfortunately at work, I have to put up with a PC.

OMG yes!!! I've been a Macophile ;) since doing a course in Digital Design about 8 years ago... I do all my design stuff on an iMac and have a MacBook Pro for everyday use. Looking forward to testing out the iPad on the WBTA... :goodvibes

Hi!!

Small favor to ask....:flower3:

If anyone has a Costco near them, we are looking for 2 of these tickets.

I guess they only sell them in certain states near Florida. If you are willing to pick them up for us, I could paypal you the money!

These are a good deal since you get 3 park to park tickets for around $135 each and can use them anytime until 2013 but the best part is you don't have to use them all at one time!
Anyway, if I don't hear back from anyone, we will just buy the single day tickets from Undercover Tourist this weekend.

Thanks!!

We have a Mac Mini and I have a MacBook. I really want an iPad, but can't justify the expense at the moment with every spare Penny going towards the vow renewal.

I think I'm about to show my age here, but … I bought my first Mac in 1985 for over $5,000. It had a huge 1 MB of what was then called core storage (RAM), plus an enormous 20 MB of off-line storage (i.e., hard drive)! I've owned nothing but Macs since then – about 10-12 all told, including one of the very first Mac laptops sold. Considering I programmed my first computer in 1959 at the age of 9 years old, and have programmed IBM console mainframes in assembly language, plus a lot of other stuff since then, I vastly prefer the "insanely great" Mac over anything else I've seen (so far). Of course, I gave up programming a long time ago - too much like hard work - and I'm just a semi-educated user now. :)

So, Macintosh: Is there another way? (OK, here comes the "Mac vs. PC" storm. Get ready!) :rotfl:

See You Real Soon!

So today Stephanie went to "JAIL" :lmao:

Actually it was to help raise funds for Muscular Dystrophy (MDA) Jerry's kids.

So it went from this......

I could help you out with the tickets.....but do you have to be a Costco member? I am not, but some of my friends are. Connie

:lmao:Fun stuff. I hope she earned a lot for them thru her "bail". :thumbsup2

Yes, you do. Wish I lived closer...I'd gladly pick them up. Can't get Florida tickets through Costco here in California. Sorry...good luck.

Jackie

Sitting in Barcelona airport on our way back from our Med cruise. 31 days til we come back. DW (Lorraine) is working an trip report, but anyone got any questions about the ship, entertainment, airport etc?

Assuming that you left from Barclona's Port Vell Terminal C, what were the duty free shops like? Has the terminal been refurbished and modernized?

Connie - yes, you have to be a member. We are members but live in California as well so can't get them here! I've heard they don't have them in FL right now either but I'm not sure how true that is. People have listed finding them on places like New York, New Jersey and South Carolina. Seems random. I wish you could just order them off their website!

Jackie - thanks!!

If anyone runs into some please PM me asap! Thanks so much!

Feels like I was last lol???!!!!

Lyn

Nothing for me yet. :sad2:

Hi there,

(this is still the daughter-in-law typing), but I set up my in-laws account and am just testing it out here. :) So, this is their new account. :)

They will be happy to see that you are hoping to go to Sunday Morning services as well. I'll show them how to post here, and hopefully they can connect with people here before the cruise.

Take care and thanks!

:welcome: aboard Grandma & Grandpa! If you get a chance, please tell us your names.

I have been on a lot of the "special cruises" and its hit or miss. I know that on the last PC cruise, there was actually a priest vacationing and he kindly volunteered his time to have a service onboard. At first, DCL wasn't quite so cooperative but then, in the end, they came through and gave us the movie theatre venue to host it. It actually got pretty packed and I even saw some CM attend. It was pretty special. No such luck this time that I'm aware of but maybe they'll have a non-denominatal service. You can always ask.

Ive worked it out, it took 4 hours but It didnt beat me:rotfl:

Well Done.

I got 2 Fedex packages today, 1 our cruise documents arrived and 2 my 2010 DVC planner FINALLY turned up

I got really excited yesterday when my husband said he's had a delivery from Disney.... but it turned out to just be our DVC planner. Still no sign of out Docs :sad1: i hope the Post Camel hasn't eaten them.

I can't believe no one has said this yet, but it's now

ONE MONTH UNTIL WE SAIL!!!!

Exactly one month from this moment, it will be 6:38 p.m., and we'll be on board, some at the first sitting of dinner, others at the first show! WOW!

anyone else excited yet?

See You Real Soon! :flower3:

This seems like a good deal. are they only available for a limited time or might they still be around in October?

OK - I did a quick skim, and didn't grab a lot of quotes, so bear with me...

TOM - I meant to post earlier... I hope that your DD is doing better today. Please take care of your selves during this time, as stress takes a toll... We will keep her in our prayers!

WELCOME ABOARD to everyone that has joined! I saw that Noel, or resident wWelcome Wagon has posted to you! As an FYI, the tasting seminar signup is closed out.

For everyone that didn't get signed up, I strongly encourage you to pay a visit to guest services upon boarding. We are filling many of the tastings to 70% or more, so some tickets will be scarce I think.

Hi everyone,
We are looking forward to meeting many of you on the ship this coming September!

One of our favorite events on the ship is Pirate Night. Does anyone know what night of the the cruise Pirate Night will be for the WB Transatlantic?

Thanks!

The dining rotations and nightly themes are on page one of this thread (and on page one of part 9 as well). We believe that the "Theme" night will be Villans.

that was Brooklyn (DIS name, not real name) and she is no longer cruising with us

Brooklyn is still active on the boards I believe - you could PM her. Also, becuase I haven't volunteered Glenn for anything for a while... Hon, can you see if we have that graphic with all the stuff she sent us? :lovestruc:lovestruc

Hope that she was able to make bail plus. I did this one year but they actually picked us up in squad cars - lights and all! We did get to sit up front though!!

Can't believe we are still in part 8... Just incase we don't get a link when the close us out, here is a link to part 9...

I`ve been in a planning mode for our post cruise 5 day stay in WDW. So lets say DH and I have been having a "discussion" ;) over tickets options. A one day ticket is now $87, times that by 4, a day in Epcot and one in MK, covert into GBP and that comes to £232 :scared1:
On a more positive note have got the dining plan booked. I wonder if they`ll let us stay onboard another 5 days

Don't forget that when you buy tickets for multiple days the cost per day goes down significantly.

Rene

oh no ... dress doesn't fit .... it hovers about 4 inches from the floor and sticks out all strange like ... I suppose thats the hazard of buying from Ebay. Back it goes !!!! Better put formal dress back on the list LOL :rotfl2:

So sorry Sarah! Hope you find something perfect in the next 4 weeks!
