I didn't get Jon's comment the way you did and I am stilllll laughing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are right about the washers and dryers. The very first Wonder cruise we took somebody got into a fight before the stage show. We couldn't believe it. That was the last time we saw any problems. I cannot imagine there would be problems with this group of dis folks. I love traveling with a fun group of people and somebody always makes me laugh! I am signing off for the night. My DH is packing for San Fran and I am making my lists for the next 4 days!!!!

Just a quick aside for you DH, weather has been gorgeous the last few days in San Francisco Bay area

Noel - you are so sweet. I just told him what you said, and in my typical DH fashion, he said, "anything under 80 is not gorgeous." He has always been a hot weather guy - not even warm - but hot!! I am laughing!!

OK....things that I am concerned about right now about this cruise....
1. We still have no stateroom assignment....and I am sure we will eventually get it but we want it now.....

2. We still have no idea who we will be flying, what time we will be flying and if it will be a non-stop to Barcelona on Friday night.

3. We are seasoned travelers but I am a little concerned about all the pick pocketing we are hearing about in Barcelona....whats the deal with that?

4. Lastly, and most importantly I am really stressed out about the Mickey bar situation. My DW and I figured last week I could probably knock off about 20 of those suckers on a 14 nighter....14 at dinner....about 5 or 6 at sit down lunches and a couple from room service....PLEASE....tell me I will get Mickey bars....I'm begging here OK.....

Seriously, the only concern is the pick-pocketing. We fly into Barcelona and then Disney transportation to the port.....Do the Disney reps meet you like they do in the Orlando airport?

I understand the general idea of the fish extenders and I see that we are breaking down the groups into 15 - 20 staterooms. I'm trying to decide if I have time to get it all together to participate. Is a gift being given per stateroom? or per person within the stateroom? Can the gifts be delivered at anytime prior to the last day during the cruise?

Just popping in to say hello - I`ve been away, taking my elderly Dad to visit relatives. I`m not even going to try to catch up.
Everything is very very stressful here. DD gets her uni results next week and needs at least a 2:2 to continue with her career choice.
Our local school and DD`s old school had a terrible tradegy last week - a bus crash killing two and badly injuring nine others. Today not far from here there have been random shootings - twelve killed and 25 injured. Even though we have not been directly affected (not that we know of) everything is too close to home.
DD and I are going on the Baltic cruise next week - thankfully for us, that is easy to do. Anyway we can`t book for Palo`s when we should for the WBTA as we will be on the cruise! I won`t be lining up to use the internet that`s for sure.

I am an 80's girl myself but NO HUMIDITY!! After a cold winter, temps have been quite pleasant here for the last few days. What city is he going to be in? If San Francisco, it will be chillier.

Cool - went ahead and booked that last one also just in case but I can cancel. BTW, the first 2 excursions I booked came back as confirmed and when I booked the Tortola it went in as unconfirmed. Boy the website sure has changed. I went on DCL the last time when excursions where on their own page. Now, they are under the planning center. Guess I've been away far too long.

They changed how you book excursions? Uh oh, guess I better familiarize myself with the new website before my booking date comes up.

In 2007 when I missed my flight from JFK to Barcelona, there were several people that arrived the same time I did and the DCL rep was waiting for us with a sign that had DCL on it. They then checked our names off a list. I am guessing that it was the same way for all those that didnt miss their flights and not just us late arrivers......

Doesn't he know that the coldest Winter is a Summer in San Francisco??? You can always spot the tourists in July and August. They are the ones in their shorts and brand new Alcatraz sweaters that they just purchased at the souvenir shop.

I an deal with the pick pocket threat, and be prepared for them, But......I just can't seem to prepare myself for the thought of no Mickey Bars!
