Weird-Odd-Strange-Disturbing Photo Thread...

Okay...let's have a distraction: another odd or disturbing photo!

Well...at least I think these things are odd. I've had several instances of vacations, including cruises, where our stuffed animals have been used in cute ways. I think they're CUTE! :rotfl:

So, my NEXT odd photo (and thanks, KingdomHearts -- you were right!!) is this: the dinosaur in AK that has lights strategically placed...as teats.

You gotta love Imagineers. :lmao:

I have to say I loved that where is this picture taken game. I think the guy who did that thread "retired".. I would love to set up and play a thread like that again!!

Ok, not really creepy but just kinda weird, especially when I saw it and took the picture because I had no idea why the boots were there!

Anyway, this is a pair of boots in the upper pool of the waterfall in Canada in World Showcase. I only found out after the fact, here in the DISboards (of course) that CM's that are leaving do this!

Oh! I love your photos peekinglemer. Pooh is just my favorite character of all time. I now want to buy the stuffed animal you have. I am looking online for it now!

We saw this in EPCOT (Italy) a few years ago -

Came back to Yacht Club on NYE (actually New Year's Day by that point) to find Mickey reading a "story" to the other little ones.

Really cool thread ... I've never been to Disney World & I'm looking forward to seeing what I can find.

LOVE this thread!!!! Keep 'em coming!!! I have to look back thru my pics..one of my favs was when the CM used my dd's baby dolls and Bambi...they were all sitting on the bed and Bambi had our story book ...holding the pages down with his little feet reading them a story!!! I think that was at the Contemporary. We did have a towel animal here or there..not too many tho....... and I have to say, I think that Mummy is terribly scary!!! I would have screamed my head off and ran away!!!!! It would just be too unnerving!!!
I also HATE clowns....The BWI clown does look just like IT.....I have always thought that and I sure wouldnt get in that pool!!! OP~ thanks for starting this thread...I needed a chuckle!

We didn't have any stuffed animals with us the last time we went, but our mousekeeper did do an awesome job with our towels every time. I don't have many pictures because we had a house fire last year and I lost a lot, but I have this one...

They really are creative! Next year we'll be taking DS so I'm sure we'll have a bunch of stuffed animals. I hope I get a mousekeeper that sets them up like some of the other posters' pictures!!

:lmao: I think we should recreate this thread as the Mousekeeping Plushie/Towel thread!!

Well, I go through my latest pictures to find the odd/strange things I noticed last year -- this was one of them.

In Mickey's backyard, I wondered how in the world Pluto (if he were actual doggie size) could get into his house...it looks like it's sinking!!

My theory: they've kept layering more and more mulch over the years, it's now touching the roof overhang! :upsidedow

My son's Pooh Bear had a great time in our room at POR. We didn't think to take pictures of his many adventures until the last day. Our Mousekeeper was great and my son loved it. Knowing his Pooh was going to have fun while we were gone was the only way I could keep him from brigning his lovey into the parks with us.

We have that Pooh!! My daughter is nearly 4, and still won't leave it behind no matter where we go. If anyone knows where I can get a new one, PLEASE let me know! It's the tag she loves, and it is almost gone:scared1:

Came back to Fort Wilderness cabin to find our stuffed animals meeting about where to go when they reach Animal Kingdom. :goodvibes

And for good measure, we have that white dog in the front of this picture also. My 6 year old calls it buster, but says it is a girl :confused3

Love the thread. We also love to come back to see how our animals are arranged. The first day of our trip last year we came back to find crumpled tissues surrounding the animals. Apparently they were sad we left them behind LOL!

I'm not sure what's weirder. The up to the knee socks on the person in the pink polo or the boots on the person in the camo jacket.:)

Also I don't have a picture but the parade props hanging in the Sassagoula floatworks at POFQ creep my daughter out. Especially the one of the giant ladies head!

Oh they creep my son out too!!! We took him when he was 3 and he called them the "big heads". We'd try to go in for breakfast and he'd say "no big heads, no big heads". He was freaked out until our last day there. Then we came home and he talked about how much he LOVED "the big heads".:rotfl:

!

I have a tag girl too. My DD recieved when she was born a pink rag looking doll, as she got older she became obsessed with it and we named her Penelope. Some days Penelope needed washing it it was hard to part with her, or sometimes she got misplaced so I found 3 more on ebay and bought them. For awhile she could never tell the difference and it worked well. But then one day she looked at it and said "This is NOT Penelope" and I couldn't figure how she could tel lthe difference. they were all the same...till I realized the the "real" Penelope has a silky tag that she loves to touch. Or as she says "Penelope has a silky tail" so now we have to keep very good track of Penelope or else my DD can't sleep. She also sleeps sith "silkie" a blanket that is slikie on one side.
