Ok - I've decided that I will be working on my christmas journal during our little crop fest on Saturday. PBF and I are heading to one of our favourite scrap stores (Absolutely Everyting in Topsfield) tomorrow to hunt for some paper and embellishments.

Great Wal-Mart find. On Saturday I was at my local Wal-Mart and had to check out the Halloween items knowing they would be on sale. I was surprised to find they had a few of the Martha Stewart punch sets over with the Halloween items. They were priced $20. Thought it would be a long shot but scanned one under the price scanner. It rang up $10 and was included in the 50% off Halloween items. Back I went to the Halloween section and quickly put the 4 they had on the shelf into my cart. Was able to pick up loops, spider webs and 2 of the scallop 3-dot punch sets. 3 for me and 1 for mom. I just love a great deal. PS Our local Michael stores that carry these have them listed at $24.99.

Holly - I asked the Bean if she would help out with Bubba on Saturday - I called it "babysitting" (she's feeling very grown up) and she is all for it, especially when I told her that he liked legos - we have a *huge* collection of them here (sponge bob, harry potter, indiana jones...) and she loves putting them together.

Girls I was thinking of you last night...my M's put out a bunch of MS punch sets including the new Christmas ones. One jumped into my hands and followed me all around the store. (How does that happen?!) DH was giving me the huffy, "If you want it." At the last minute I put it back. At the register I was rewarded with a 50% off coupon. Yay! Good choice, going back next week to pick it up.

That is awesome! The loops one is so popular and the spider web one looks so neat.

There was a gingerbread man that is similar to the one from last year (it may be exactly the same, I am not sure). It was just a border, no corner. There was one called rings that was just circles all the way around and one with circles and dots. There was also a snowflake border/corner set. Let me see if I can find a picture...Martha's site is so difficult to navigate! The new ones are not on her site. There were a couple that I would classify as "Holiday" but there were others that would work for everyday events.

I might have to get that gingerbread man punch. I am thinking of making Christmas cards and using the hint from the Cricut newsletter the other day about mixing spices in with your glue/embossing powder to make them scented...how cool is that?!
