Hi! Haven't been on the boards for a while...crazy busy and changed jobs (for the better but still stressful). Anyway...wanted to let everyone know that I had lanyards made for our cruise. They are red with our cruise name and the dates. I will take a photo at some point so folks can see them. I am happy to share with disboard folks but the supply is not unlimited (and wasn't cheap either) so let me know how many you want me to hold for you and I will try to keep track...please give me just one name and stateroom number for your group. I am happy to send them to you too however I can't afford the postage so I would ask for a self addressed stamped envelope. They don't weigh much so I don't think it would cost very much at all. (I can weigh them to check).

Weather has been pretty bad lately, today was snowing this morning, never made it about about 45 degrees. Supposed to be rainy and cool all week!

Thank you I didn't think I could be any more excited about the cruise but I am now! Jack was 6 months when we took him on the Med cruise and as this little one is due in December it will be pretty much the same! It was a perfect holiday to do so fingers crossed. A bit hot in the Med but don't think we'll have that problem in Northern Europe. I've been to Norway a few times and its quite a cool and wet place! Stunning too of course.

When we went before we left Jack for a few times at Flounders but he'd never really been left before and we always did it in the evening eg to go to the shows and he hated it :-( It was too hot for us to go on the trips though we did wander round the towns on our own. The quiet days on the ship were fab though!

The current plan is to do excursions and to carry him/her along. Cathy doesn't envision herself being able to leave the baby in Flounders, so we will likely skip Palo on this trip. Honestly though, are plans are going to remain pretty fluid. This is our first baby, so we honestly have no clue and will be pretty much winging it.

Jack Spence just finish a whole blog on DLP on allears, very detailed and informational, a good read. He recommended a minimum of two days and keeping it seperate from your time in Paris if you can.

I'll try and find it. I know that Scott and Lynn went after the TA cruise. I know that another person said that they paid $23 for a hamburger. We won't be doing Paris. I'm trying to squeeze in a couple of days.

I'd say a couple of days, maybe three if you've got time to spare as opposed to getting it done as quickly as possible. We've not been for a few years so I think they have added to the Studios since then. But we didn't find there was that much to actually do there. It was nice and new and shiny though.

The original park is lovely too, even though its not new any more it does seem to have a certain something in the detail over Florida maybe, but its small too

The Disney Village is just outside the park gates so theres more choice of where to eat and of course most of the hotels are within easy walking distance too.

The last time we were there I think we popped out to Val d'Europe for supplies. It has a huge hypermarket which is always good fun in another country anyway.

It was expensive last time we went but we've looked into going this year and £/Euro exchange is making it prohibitive. It makes the cruise look good value!! We've never done a dining package but I think for us now it would take the stress out of what to eat or even if to eat some meals!
