DDA Chapter 6

Vicki-we didn't have breaks and we didn't do that much!! I would think anything after 9 pm and your niece and nephew will be wiped!! Though EWP is one thing I remember from my childhood (and my kids loved it last summer). We really only stayed out late one night....MK. The rest we left the parks and were back in our room by 11. Resting each day might help to lengthen your days, but remember there may be long times on the buses.
Yes, everybody can sleep when they get home but you don't want the kids being so tired they don't remember anything. The magic is in being there and being with family not in seeing everything.

That's what I'm struggling with. The staying out late is only if people are up to it. I doubt that they will. However, my sister was adamant that her kids would be on the go the whole time. I know she is wrong but I have to have it on there for now.

See highlighted!
Friday arrive MCO at 11:30am, resort by 1pm, MK parade at 3pm, Spectro 9, Wishes 10, MK EMH so open to 2am Are you planning on staying until 2am? I'd be concerned about the kids being SO EXCITED that they'll just wipe themselves out by the end of the day. I forget what time the flight leaves their home airport...how early are they going to be up? Maybe see Wishes tomorrow or as a backup if no one makes it tonight?

Saturday HS at opening, Star Wars Parade at 11:30, leave for resort by 1, head back to HS when rested and stay to closing (8), take boat to Epcot for Illuminations at 9, take monorail to MK just for the ride and a shorter line for buses back to OKW This is when I might do Wishes... if everyone is too tired the night before this is just a quick pop into the park.

Sunday CRT at 8:10, MK til 12:30, rest and get to AK parade for 4pm, stay until closing (8), go to MK for EMH if desired

Monday Typhoon Lagoon at opening until 12:30 or 1pm, WCC at 5pm, FW Fire 6:30, Sing-along 7:00, Movie 7:40, EWP 9:45 I think this is a great day for Typhoon Lagoon and the campground!

Tuesday AK for opening, Tusker House 10:15, resort by 1:30pm, rest and on to Epcot to eat around the world, Epcot has EMH to 12 Don't force yourself to stay here all night since you'll be back early in the morning...what am I saying...you know this! :rotfl:

Wednesday Epcot at opening, Resort by 1:30, rest and head to DTD, Cirque at 6pm, hang out at DTD or head to HS with EMH to 1am What are you doing for dinner tonight? I'd hang out at DTD and relax!

Thursday BB EM at 8am, Resort by 12:30, Katrina & Becky leave, HS Parade by 3, HS Fantasmic 7, boat to Epcot, hang out at Epcot EMH until 12 Is this enough transportation time between BB - resort - HS to make it to the 3pm parade?

Friday MK at opening, Crystal Palace at 1:05, resort by 3, leave open - maybe head to DTD Disney Quest or MK for EMH until 2am

Saturday - Chuck & I leave, Sister, Niece, Nephew and Mom move to Pop for the night, they can do whatever they want to go back and see
These are my concerns. But other than that, I see it as a fun vacation with family, and there are also enough adults to take a break with the kids if they seem to start getting burned out. :thumbsup2 You do good Vicki. :teeth:

ETA: Apparently I'm go go go too because I have Vicki seeing Illuminations at 9 and then Wishes by 10! I must have everyone apperating! :rotfl:

We all felt rotten on our Epcot day (not sure why but we did). That day holds some awesome memories because we took it slow. We rode Soaring twice with minimal wait either time, hardly any wait anywhere. Mine was going to get in line to meet Belle and the Beast and being told to come back in 15 minutes...we waited. Out comes the handlers and Belle and the Beast. Huge group of giggling teens wanted to jump in front of us...handler wouldn't allow it. Then Beast and I played for about 10 minutes....oh I had fun.:lovestruc Belle was great too.:rotfl:

Cassidy and Abi just said one of the best memories was meeting the Brooks family. :goodvibes(that was a higlight for me too:cutie: )

Make the adr...

then call the coral reef 407-560-6784 and tell them you want a diver...they will tell you if that time slot is open...after that they will give you an email address....(I have a better email that goes directly to a manager...so if you get to that point...let me know
Did you get my message? :teeth:
I know there isn't really a bad seat for LaNouba but now that I've booked and got our seats, I'm second guessing myself. We got section 205 GG 7-14. We were in section 202 BB (closest to the 203 section) on the last trip and they were awesome seats.
Looks like good seats to me! I put clients in this section all the time.
So what would you give up? Remembering that this could be the only time my niece & nephew get to Disney in their childhood. I'm thinking of giving up WCC, the campfire, singalong & movie. I put that in there because it is something that I remember from when we stayed when I was little. However, my sister does not remember it.

We usually take a 2 hour break at the resort. I have that in there for most days. It is just Sunday and Thursday that I'm concerned about for those.

We won't stay until the end of EMH every night. We will just be there until we are ready to head out which will probably be 11pm most nights. My sister and her kids are very early risers! I mean very early! I'm not worried about them making it to the parks early. My girls can sleep in if they want. They don't have to be at everything with us.
See! I knew you'd have it under control! :teeth:
Do you want to hear something depressing? There is white stuff coming down outside!
That means it's further north than Cleveland...let's keep it that way!
You will all have a wonderful time no matter what you decide :goodvibes
Ditto!
Well, Tammi and her clan had great weather for Nicholas' party today. :)
My washer is sitting in my backyard and the new Maytag will be delivered and installed tomorrow morning, according to the delivery service. The outdoor floodlights have been reinstalled and the flourescent fixture in the laundry room has been replaced.

I also purchased and then put down 8 bags of mulch, planted some geraniums and put out 4 hanging baskets. My garden has begun!

I am exhausted!
Congrats on the gardening! I wish I had gotten my hosta's transplanted today.
It's good to hear the weather was great for the party! It was chilly here so I hoped that that was all you guys got - but we definately didn't have 80's here! :faint: We are in the 50s!

Before our May trip, we found a similar thing that literally fits in the palm of your hand. It's a fan that is that small, and the whole thing fills with water. It works just as well as the larger one, and is so much more compact. Just something to think about, becuase they can all get very heavy filled up! And if you (or we anyway) tucked them away so as not to have to carry them, they never got used.
Do you remember where you got them?

Well, I did it! We are booked at Pop. The CM said that there were no codes attached to my name or AAA discounts available for Pop or All-Stars but that I should try back in May to see if there are any other discounts. Not sure what that means, because I haven't been keeping any code watches, but I'll give it a try.

I also did Tusker House for the 16th.
:cool1: :thumbsup2

Hi all...

The party is over, thank goodness, and we are exhausted. It was gorgeous outside, thanks for the pixie dust! Molly really enjoyed all the fun and spending time with her friends.

Here are a few pics from today. None of the pics I took of the cake turned out great, one spot or another was blurry. :headache:

I am beyond exhausted and plan to get the girls to bed and then I want to curl up on the couch and promptly fall asleep! Have a great night. I will check in tomorrow.

:wizard: and 's to all.

Unfortunately I didn't have a chance to run over there and wish him well. :(

You were busy today! I don't see anything about a new car, so I guess that didn't happen yet. Did you get your washer at Sears? They were have a 12% cash back rebate on anything over 399.

Yes, we did have wonderful weather. I can't believe there wasn't a drop of rain, and the skies were blue. Stupid weatherpeople!

Mass was beautiful. I am so proud of my little man. The cookout went off without a hitch, and the kitchen is cleaned up. I will try to post some pictures a little later. Thanks for all the :wizard:. It sure helped!

Tammi & Robyn glad today turned out beautiful for you both! Robyn I think your cake looks wonderful, great job :thumbsup2

Elin glad you were able to enjoy the nice day as well!

It is cold here & I am not liking it :headache:

I've heard you guys talking about the diver at Coral Reef holding up signs. I'm thinking that might be fun as an early anniversary suprise for Chris. How would I go about trying to do that? I may order a cake at some point too. My nephews birthday is the first whole day that we are there, but we don't have a TS meal planned that day. I may pick a different day and have one delivered. Maybe at WCC. Who would I contact to get a cake delivered there?

Here you go, Deb! All the information you could want about cakes and more...
http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1173219

I don't know if the information for the diver/sign is in that thread or not. It's been a while since I read it.

I need to decide whether to get a cake for Laura. The diver with the sign, and the personalized menu at Coral Reef sound great, but I know that neither of my younger two would be overly happy with the menu there.

Now you guys have me thinking of Coral Reef for our Anniversary so I could do the diver and cake. Or just order a cake love the cakes on the thread you posted Beth

Sounds like everyone had a good day.

It was just beautiful here too.

I went and bought a bulldog webkinz and got a free persian cat.

So now I have Cobain the striped alley cat, Butch the bulldog and Ella the persian cat. Had to buy the polka dot pj top.!!!!!

It is such fun. The games are so cute.

call me crazy :rotfl: :rotfl: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Chucky is going to get jealous. It sounds like you are turning your attention to others!

Where do I find out the details about the different level of studios at Animal Kingdom? We are wondering what the difference between the value, standard view, and savannah view. I'm assuming that the value must not have the greatest view? Would there be any other differences?
