Tammi & Robyn hope you both have perfect weather for your parties today!

Jen good luck with the test :wizard:

Lindsay hope all goes well with your db during your trip :wizard:

Elin wonderful news about Patrick!

Bernadette congratulations on learning how to make the button holes :thumbsup2

I watched the Disney show last night as well & all I kept thinking about is that these are not really budget trips. After you add in all the extras, the price has really gone up! I was surprised with the jumping on the beds too :sad2: I caught the stroller rental prices & the all you can eat CS at Trails End  I know my solo trip coming up is only 4 nights, but this is not my 1st trip. I could never go for 2 nights, 3 days for the 1st time :scared1: They really should of asked some of us to be in the show :thumbsup2 I did enjoy seeing the cabins & Pop Century though.

Good morning :)

We had a cold front go through last night & now my heater is kicking on :sad2:

Now we can take our bikes to FW :cloud9:
Sounds like fun!

Tomorrow we will help my DB untap all of the Maple Trees. It could be a long day. Hopefully the weather cooperates as I don't want to do it in the rain.:sad2:
Sounds exhausting! :wizard: Hope the rain stays away!

I am a little nervous - won't go into all the details tonight because I'm wine sleepy, but my brother is going to join us for a couple of days. I'll need a LOT of PD for that!
:wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

So its 230 and ive been up for an hour..i have to get up to take the test in 4 hours...this is going to be rough! I started to feel sick (think it may be bad allergies) Thursday night and it has just gotten worse...so here i am :)
Good luck on the test Jen!!!:wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

I am in the single digits now :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

But I also feel a bit :scared1: Hopefully I'll make some progress today and feel like I've got things under control.

Our news channel has an article on now about the www.realage.com website. I don't have time to do it right now but I think it sounds like something I will definitely be doing! It also gives ideas on how to improve your length of life.

I did this several months ago and somehow scored lower than my actual age. But I also have a list of things to improve.

Do any of you use personal misters at Disney during the summer months? We are trying to make sure we are covered for the warmth of June. If you do use something, what do you have?

I know you said you decided on the Misty Mates, but I'll throw in my two cents anyway. I've never had a misty mate, because they seemed to big for my personal taste. The fans on top of a spray bottle are what we started with, but even those were entirely too bulky filled with water, to really utilize on a regular basis. We always ended up leaving them at home.

Before our May trip, we found a similar thing that literally fits in the palm of your hand. It's a fan that is that small, and the whole thing fills with water. It works just as well as the larger one, and is so much more compact. Just something to think about, becuase they can all get very heavy filled up! And if you (or we anyway) tucked them away so as not to have to carry them, they never got used.

At his lesson today Patrick let me know that a video he and his parish submitted for the Papal visit was one of the finalists. He wrote the music for it and plays on it too. What an honor to have had it chosen over hundreds and hundreds of submittals from all over the country!

What a wonderful honor! :goodvibes

And I found out myBob was watching the show tonight, again without any prompting from me. When I commented to him about it he said that it could come back to bite me in the butt, as with all this new-found knowledge he is gaining I will have to relinquish some control. :scared1: What is that man thinking?!?!?!

:rotfl: At least he's hooked. It could be worse, he could think you were crazy ;)

Umm, NO! :scared: But, that's what I have the weekend for! :thumbsup2

I am a little nervous - won't go into all the details tonight because I'm wine sleepy, but my brother is going to join us for a couple of days. I'll need a LOT of PD for that!

You'll get the stuff ready, I'm sure of it! :) I hope the portion of the trip with your brother, while potentially quite stressful, ends up being a really great time for all of you! :wizard:

Woohoo!

Sounds perfect! And Daisy is at Tusker House and she can be hard to find.

Now I'm thinking of trying Tusker House for a late breakfast, but I don't want too many TS. Maybe he won't miss CM if we have these other ones. Hmmm...I feel like I'm so behind on all this planning stuff! I usually have a year or so. :rotfl:

Well, I did it! We are booked at Pop. The CM said that there were no codes attached to my name or AAA discounts available for Pop or All-Stars but that I should try back in May to see if there are any other discounts. Not sure what that means, because I haven't been keeping any code watches, but I'll give it a try.

I also did Tusker House for the 16th.

My DD had a misty mate or something like it. She also had a stroller to park it on, as it was really heavy when she filled it with water and ice.

I got a really smal palm sized fan with an itty bitty water bottle connected to it. I bought it for $5 at our Save Mart. Granted it only lasted the one trip, (about 10 days) but it hooked right onto my belt loop. I used it in every line. It was compact and worked just fine.

My DD's giant mister fan that she bought at WDW for about $18 also made it one trip. It was so powerful that it cooled the folks behind her too! She loved it, but like I said, she had a stroller to cart it around in. It was really heavy.

Good Morning DDA,

Elin - Congrats to Patrick, what a wonderful talent he is!

We're supposed to have a rainy weekend here, but for right now the sun is shining. I need to get out there and finish with my flower beds, I finished my large one Wednesday but when I started on the small one around the mailbox it was full of ants, so I put out poison, hopefully they are gone now.

Congrats on the new laptop Elizabeth, I use mine more like a deskktop than a laptop, I still haven't found a bag for it, it has a 17 inch screen and I'm not paying over $100 for a bag.

Hope you're feeling better soon Jen.

Good morning, DDA! :sunny:

Hoping everyone's days are terrific, parties and chores and all!

channon-which is better disney or royal carribean. i know your probably gonna say disney but put disney love aside.

if anyone else could chime in on that that would be great.
I've only cruised on Disney - but would say that RCCL has a better price. With Disney, you really do pay for the name brand product. RCCL also may have better ports of call on a shorter itinerary if you're looking for something besides Nassau.

Beth - Please call back about the discounted AAA rates at Pop for 8/13 to 8/22. There is an AAA rate available at Pop for $665...unless she gave that rate to you and just didn't tell you it was an AAA rate? :confused3 I just want to make sure you're getting the best price! (It's also available for Music too...)

I am in the single digits now :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

Yay!! :cool1: You are going to have so much fun!!

My advice would be to call and book whatever you think you MIGHT want, then cancel after you decide for sure.

We'll help you keep an eye out for codes. I am on the Codes board all the time because I am waiting for AP rates.

Debbie - I had to laugh about your 17" screen. I saw one with a 17" screen online and I told DH "NO! That one won't fit in my bag!" :rotfl2:

Lindsay - I can only imagine how your brother ended up incorporated into your trip. Anyway, I hope it all works out better than you expect!
And you are right - Seat Guru is the site Uncle1 uses! :)

I HAVE to start cleaning. My desk is completely obscured by papers that need to be filed. My plan is to start at the desk and work my way out towards the front door. I also need to thoroughly clean DS's bathroom. I don't usually go in there so I don't realize how icky it gets. :scared:
I wish I was packing to go to WDW! That sounds way more fun than scrubbing a toilet! :rotfl:

I bought my laptop bag on Disneyshopping. com We even got it personalized. I'm not sure if they still have them, but I paid less than $20 for it. Actually that is Chris' bag as I bought one with my laptop on that Black Friday.

Lindsay  :wizard: For your trip. I really hope that your brother will suprise you and be the loving brother that you remember and long to have back

I hope your test is going well. Please check in and let us know how you are doing!

Woohoo!
thanks everyone-
I just got home from the test--i think it went okay but i wont know for a month or so. The best part about the day was that the proctor was my 6th grade teacher! I talekd to her after the test and she asked how my brother was and what we were up to. Then she told me that she still remembers when I moved to the area and into her classroom in the middle of the year and she said she remembers a math project i did! she was so sweet

so im eating lunch and just relaxing..i dont functino well on 2 hours of sleep and i still feel horrible and have no voice..ugh!

Its happening again!1

I cant believe it, I did google webmaster alex and I read a blog, and found the truth - it wasnt that board it was all alex messing up, there are no lawyers, there is no his side!
