I wish I could! I need some decompression (and alcohol could help this) All week I have been working on a real estate deal...I finally get it together yesterday...this morning at 7 am my cell phone rings, it's another Realtor wanting to submit an offer :scared1: Now I have quite the debacle to deal with

Wow, people are actually BUYING houses????

Maybe that will up your commission then. Good luck.

Well, I need to hop in the shower now that I have a lunch date. Have a great day everyone!

Only at rock bottom prices....terrible market these days

I opened a nice bottle of an Argentinian Malbec last night. If you would come down for lunch and the wine tasting you could help me polish it off!

Good Morning Friends,

Elizabeth - Glad to hear you are coming to terms with things, I haven't confronted them because my Mom asked that we not fight in a letter that she left to us, but I am extremely upset with my two older brothers over their behavior when Mom was so ill. It practically took an act of congress to get them to the house, I finally left a message on one of their machines and told him if he wanted to see Mom while she still knew who he was he better get there soon. I'll continue to keep you and your Mom in my prayers.

Robyn - Love the invite, the party looks like it is going to be a lot of fun.

Tom - I hope you are able to sueeze in a vacation soon, work does have a way of spoiling our fun.

Tammi - Sounds like a wonderful birthday, I'm sure Bob really appreciated it.

Elin - Breakfast sounds fun, DH is working 10 hour days 6 days a week right now so on his days off I let him sleep in, gotta make that "Money for Disney" unfortunately much of it has gone to Dr bills lately.

Have you noticed how busy the Creative Designs forum has been lately? There are several wonderful designers here that are making some great designs, so many designs, so few Tshirts. Can you believe that DD said she didn't want us to have shirts for the cruise? Well I'm making them anyway, :rotfl:

I have a plan to take it easy today, knock on wood, I'm feeling much better already. I hope that since I now have my sugar levels under control that I won't have such a hard time getting over illnesses.

Thanks Debbie! I am so glad that you are feeling better. Enjoy your easy day!

I hope there are still blossoms! They are at their peak right now. According to the Washington NBC station this morning, it is the first time in many years that that trees and the Festival have cooperated! :goodvibes

I'm sure there won't be but it's the only day we can go:(

OK, Tammi (and others!)... I have changed the Boston photo in my siggy so hopefully it won't be so confusing for everyone. :rotfl:

Well, then... Kristine has spoken! Back it goes... :rotfl:

Really I thought I lost my mind there, or what's left of it anyway! :rotfl2:

I want to go wine tasting/out to lunch :)

Me three!

I wish I could! I need some decompression (and alcohol could help this) All week I have been working on a real estate deal...I finally get it together yesterday...this morning at 7 am my cell phone rings, it's another Realtor wanting to submit an offer :scared1: Now I have quite the debacle to deal with

I hope it all works out.

That sounds darn good...

If you ever get a chance...try Royal Tokaji 5 Puttonyos. One one the best I have ever had!!

Can I ask for some pixie dust for my cousin Joe? My mom just called and he was in a car accident late last night. He is in the hospital with a concussion and injuries to his back. He does not remember what happened at all. I really wish we weren't so far away.

:wizard:  Wow! How scary

I will have to look for it somewhere else. It is not sold in Virginia! Have you had it at WDW?

This is your cousin in Dallas, right? :wizard:

actually, if I search for it as an "aszu" I can find it... how odd! Is it sweet? More like a sauternes or a muscat?

I have a ton of stuff I could be doing but feel like doing none of it. The laundry is never ending and I really should actually clean my house instead of just vacuuming and surface cleaning. ;) But wasting time is so much more fun!!!

That sounds SOOOO familiar! :rotfl:

I am glad that you are feeling better, Debbie. I hope your return to good health continues on such a great pace!!

Debbie, I am glad your blood sugar is leveling off!
I think my sisters and I are destined to fight. The 2 of them seem to have major entitlement issues, and I will not put up with that. I can handle my mother's affairs without being tempted to dip into her money, which is good becasue there won't really be anything to dip into. Having dealt with multiple AIDS clients I know what services exist and I am savvy enough to find them. My sister, on the other hand, was the one who signed our father into a private pay hospital when he was uninsured instead of having him transferred to the VA. She didn't want him at the VA. She's not practical, and she makes bad decisions. LOTS of bad decisions.

Well, then... Kristine has spoken! Back it goes... :rotfl:

I kept looking at the pic and I couldn't see anything different! I thought it was just me! :rotfl2:

Good luck with the deal, Kristine!

well, I'm just sayin'.... If it were Vicki I was meeting I would have to rethink my wardrobe choices!

:rotfl2: Guess you'll have to come hang with me. I'm in jeans and a baseball cap!

Only at rock bottom prices....terrible market these days

I want a house at a rock bottom price. But not in Chicago where it SNOWS! :scared:

Oh, no!! Let me know if there is anything I can do! Feel free to PM.

'The first time I had it, was at V & A...it was served with the Foie gras....I have since ordered it and served it a several times...everyone really likes it. It's definitely a special occasion or dinner party wine...it's too pricey to drink too often.

I've wasted a ton of time this morning! Feels good actually:lmao:

Thanks Elizabeth.:goodvibes I'm going to call him later this afternoon. He was sleeping when my mom called. She told me that he was coming home from a catering job. I know this sounds horrible but I sure hope that he wasn't doing anything stupid.

I am now off to shower as we need to be out of the house in 45 minutes. See how good I am at wasting time! Have a great Saturday DDA!

yes, it is a sweeter wine...I served it with a cheese course. similar to a sauternes...but not quite as heavy, if that makes sense

actually, if I search for it as an "aszu" I can find it... how odd! Is it sweet? More like a sauternes or a muscat?

It is! About $60 a bottle here. I can't imagine what it would cost at V&A
