I *almost* ordered it from HSN. I've ordered other things from HSN before no issues. I'm going to wait for it to come out and then get it with a coupon ... I'll be okay without it for awhile. (I hope! )

Interesting that it is backordering it. Maybe I didn't read far enough down on the Cricut board posts to see if they said anything about the extended shipping. I got too excited and came over here. I will be waiting to use a coupon on it too.

I watched the video for the thing, and it really does look awesome. The poor guy that was doing it has NOT A CLUE what he was doing, but just got a crash course for the demo...too funny....

Anyway, They were setting the gromets in jeans, and I had a lightbulb moment I should have been using my old one to set snaps and things on clothes....DUH!!!!

The new customer coupon code is not valid for the new Crop a Dial because it is today's special. I tried.

Just to clear a few things up... I ordered a crop o dial this morning and it was on extended delivery and scheduled to be here BY feb 4. I was quite surprised that they did not say this on tv. The case for it, which is sold separately, (around $14 and change) and is also on extended delivery, is scheduled to be here by Jan 25. It also included more grommets.

Also, for those of you who shop at QVC, Lisa Bearnson will be on Feb 4th not the 5th. I believe the todays special is going to be CKU in a box. It looked kind of interesting. I have never been to CKU so I will be watching for sure to see what it is all about. They had a little blurb about it in Feb CK magazine.

Lastly, just to reassure everyone, I have ordered from HSN a number of times and have always rec'd excellent service! Actually, more often than not, I rec'd my stuff long before its due date. I hope this helps if anyone was on the fence. Patty

You know what, I turned on HSN when I got home at 7 so I could see part of the show and I told him I bought it.

He laughed at me and started giving me a hard time about the BAN. I guess he actually listened when I was telling him about it.

However, I have put things back, and not ordered things.... and run beside the wagon for a few min, and jumped back on again...so the Ban for me has been to think about purchases before buying.

How weird! I ordered mine last night before midnight EST and it let me use the first time orderer code. I think it ended up being 56 something with shipping for both the tool and the case. 39.91 for tool ( -5.99 discount) and 16.90 for the case.

My delivery dates in the email are set at February 4. I emailed customer service right away last night and asked what "backordered" meant and if I should expect it before March. They told me that it has a SHIP date, not delivery date of Feb 4, expected in home no later than Feb 14. SOooo... Yeah.

I'm sorry it didn't work for you I find it weird it didn't give me the 15% off the entire order as the "first time orderer" discount read (Or so I thought). The percentage doesn't seem right to me either. Who knows, whatever, HSN. Bleh.
