I've heard that they can run out of supplies. But then again, I have heard that some of that stuff is laying around for the taking later in the day after people are done with them. I'll be snorkeling by myself on CC, I was hoping to take my son but he has, so far, not been wild about the mask and snorkel.

Steve, that's wonderful news! I'm right with you on that one! Isn't it funny how all of a sudden it just clicks! Hooray Leah! :woohoo: :cheer2:

Thanks, It is way cool. She went away for a overnight at Grandma's and returned using the potty. I had to ask her what she did to my daughter. She stated very matter-of-factly, "I just expected her to use it."

I keep forgetting to look up the shore excursions in the passporters I will have to do that tonight have little one goes to bed. I will have to post our ideas also to get feedback from everyone else.

I think the only thing at this point for us to book Sunday night is the mud room. Everything else is going to be done on the ship I think. I wish it was not like that but with DS being in a different room and my parents not wanting their information on the internet that is the way we will have to do it. That and if my parents do not go then I think that might cause a problem also if we end up booking alot of things, because we will have to change one of the adults to the room my parents have.

Grandma's are the coolest!!!!:thumbsup2

Carrie relax!!!!!!! It's okay!!!! My Scott does this all the time. It is a nuclear medicine procedure. He works late every wed night doing thyroids. She will be getting a thyroid ablation sp?. i will have him send you a pm tomorrow about the whole procedure. Very routine.

That would be great if you could have him send that. I guess part of my problem is that I do not like this dr. and he did not tell them the name of the procedure or anything so we would not look anything up on it without the name of it. So is it normally to tell people to stay away from her?

I usually go by myself as well. However, DS was snorkeling all over his pool last night, so maybe he'll be ready. I told him that he'd have a life jacket on so it would be easier for him and that he could float (he was actually swimming around the pool).

We have our own equipment (DS too) so we didn't have to worry about renting it. I didn't think they ran out of that stuff, but I could be wrong.

Yes. It is a high dose of radiation. I'm not sure of the exact half life but it does stay in the body until you get rid of it by normal body functions.

I'm definately going to try for a Palos Brunch on one of the at sea days. I will be also looking for a Palos ressie on Tuesday night. I'm not sure if I can book the Tea with Wendy early or not, but my wife and daughter really want to do this.

Key West- Not planning any Disney outings here. If we even get off of the ship, we will go to the Pirate Soul and Shipwreck Historeum.

Grand Cayman- We will definately be doing the Sea World Explorer Semi-Submarine and if I can possibily fit it in, we will be also doing the Pirate Encounter.

Cozumel- My son and I will be doing the Dolphin Encounter with my wife and daughter as observers. It's expensive, and I'm not sure how my daughter will react to the dolphin (just turned 3)

Castaway Cay- Not planning much. May rent snorkling equiptment for myself. I was hoping that my son would be able to do this with me, but it is still hard to get him to wear the mask for any degree of time and I haven't yet gotten him to breathe from a snorkel. I think he suffers from the same type of Claustrophobia that I did when I was his age. At any rate, we're planning a family beach day for this day and I will be trying my hand at building a killer sandcastle. I've been studying up on building techniques and believe that I can do a top notch job.

Here are the ressies that I think that I am going to make come Sunday.

Grand Cayman - the only excursion that looks good here is the Pirate Encounter - does anyone know if that is still available? If its not - does anyone have any great suggestion or should I just hit the beach and relax?

This sounded like a very popular excursion on this board. Not sure if it is full. I can't check because I already have it and wouldn't be able to check the later one due to timing conflicts.

As for beaches, I read online that Public Beach on Seven Mile Beach is pretty good. That is where we're going after the Pirate Excursion (with a stop at Hell for DW before hand).

Evening all! I just read through today's posts. Boy, the guys sure were chatty charlie's! :rotfl2:

Haven't seen many posts from Chris or Linda recently. Hope they're OK. Of course, I don't post as much either.

Thinking about putting our girls in a new daycare place. They've been to the same one for years now, but it is an in-home daycare, not a daycare center. I think they need a bit more structure, and activities, not just babysitting. Especially the littlest one. We'll see. If they absolutely hate it, and the current one has space available, I can always move them back.

Jeff - I too would love a mini-golf course on board. Disney themed would be fun! Plus, photopass. Definitely photopass! No nudie sun bathing though. I agree with Rob, you only see the people who shouldn't be doing it! Sorry - nothing new to add. I'll just sponge off other people's ideas!

So that's their fear. I was wondering about that. Check and see if you can make the ressies anyway with an extra person, (Unless they are going too.) I can't imagine that the ressies will be room dependant. i.e. If there is 4 in my room but I reserve 5 spots, what's the problem?

Grandma's are the coolest!!!!:thumbsup2

Yes, Yes they are.

I envy you. I was hoping for that snorkeling to be a Father/Son thing but I really don't want to push it. I'm glad that they there's no prob with the snorkel equipt. Maybe I'll put that off so that I can opt to do something different if I want.

Thoughts and prayers to all those affected by the collapsed bridge in Mpls.

Yeah, I think that I have everything down now.

Steve, did you put a request in for a dining rotation? Also, do you have early or late seating? If you have a request in, go for a day that is not after Animator's. If you are unsure, go for Monday as you would have to be on LAP to have your character breakfast on Monday, and with little kids I doubt you'll get that rotation.

If you are on early dining, it shouldn't matter which day you book brunch because you will be done with the Character Breakfast in time to make a 10:30 brunch ressie. Just don't eat at the CB.

We went for Sunday so that our Sea Days are open. We will easily be done before the boat docks in KW.

This is an easy walk right from the dock. There should be coupons online for this (maybe on their own website). If not, look around town on the way there, you may find some.

Grand Cayman- We will definately be doing the Sea World Explorer Semi-Submarine and if I can possibily fit it in, we will be also doing the Pirate Encounter.

Unless the semi-sub is in the early afternoon AND you get on the 8:00 a.m. Pirate, you won't be able to do both. They are real sticklers on the timing. The 2nd Pirate goes at 10:45 I think. You may be able to do the semi-sub through an outfit on the island.

Cozumel- My son and I will be doing the Dolphin Encounter with my wife and daughter as observers. It's expensive, and I'm not sure how my daughter will react to the dolphin (just turned 3)

Are you doing this at Chakanaab? We most likely will be ending up there for the day. Not a definite - we will look at other clubs, but DW wants to go back there.

That's exactly what we did. We're doing the island tour in the morning. Then we're doing the semi-sub at noon, directly through Atlantis Adventures. It was less expensive this way too! :thumbsup2

Evening everyone! Who's all here tonight?

Oh great. There goes the quality of the posts tonight. :lmao:

Hi Nancy.

How you handling the heat? It is suppose to be this hot through at least Monday.

How about the Brewers last night? I turned it on in the top of the 10th and watched it to the end.

They're losing right now 7-5 and the Cubs are tied 4-4.

Hi Jen, we are flying out of Mitchell on 19th also. So is Jeff and Cheryl. Judy is flying out on the 18th from Mitchell but Victoria opted for O'Hare because it's closer to Racine for her. I think she is also leaving on the 19th.

We are on Midwest, my kids are on Delta. Which airlines are you taking? Maybe we'll see you in the airport somewhere. I'll be wearing my lime green Konked Kruiser bracelet.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Don't you know by now that I have no problems going off on a tangent? Picky, picky. :rotfl:

Jeff, which picture would you put on your KTTW card? :lmao: (one more time???)

Victoria opted to go out of O'Hare only because it was half the price! :headache: I would have loved to have gone out of Mitchell as it is only 20 minutes from our house, but now we have the hassle of O'Hare and an hour ride. :headache: Oh well, the money saved will come in handy for excursions. ;)
