my answer: A mini-golf course. (I think a regulation 9-hole course on CC would be cool too.)

No really really, I am with Jeff, a minni putt-putt course would be grand. It is the only time I can get hole-in ones- on the course.

Mornin all.......I was hoping for some computer help. I can't use my smileys, fonts, or colors. Also when I post I have to hit the redirect button to take me back to the posts. Also on my yahoo mail the mail will come up and the info of the person that sent it and subject comes but no context. And on some websites it will say loading and never come. It is a new computer so I wonder if it is some sort of virus. I am computer dumb and have no idea. Any suggestions will help. Thanks.

DH scott here, I too am computer dumb. My solution..a trusty hammer. And Karen could borrow it anytime.

DH scott here, OK time for my dumb computer/thread question. I seem to have problems getting the thread to load starting at about 12:15 am AZ time. An I happened to notice that it was still having that same problem at 2:00 am AZ time. Does anyone have any idea why this happens?

Another vote for this. Also photo ID's as part of the key to the world card, so that you don't have to carry additional ID with you.

Glad to see so many Wisconsinites out there...I'm in Janesville. I'll be the car going 80 down I39 on the 19th to get to the airport...I'm SO jazzed about this cruise.

Quick computer question...I'm not too savvy on these boards yet. How do you get previous posts to show up in your post...do you copy and paste, or reply to that post?

A little bit more about me...I'm a work outside the home mom to a full-of-energy 4 year old, and married to a great guy. I like to read (have you all discussed the 7th Harry Potter book yet?? WOW) and love to take pics and scrapbook.

Hi Jen, we are flying out of Mitchell on 19th also. So is Jeff and Cheryl. Judy is flying out on the 18th from Mitchell but Victoria opted for O'Hare because it's closer to Racine for her. I think she is also leaving on the 19th.

We are on Midwest, my kids are on Delta. Which airlines are you taking? Maybe we'll see you in the airport somewhere. I'll be wearing my lime green Konked Kruiser bracelet.

I'd love that, but they won't because the cheaper cost of renting a car would keep people from over paying for the DCL transfers.

That would be way too cool. I'm sure they'd get a mint for it.

BTW, how does a hotel at the port answer the question of something on the ship?

Don't you know by now that I have no problems going off on a tangent? Picky, picky.

Too cool to have the Photo ID on the card. Only problem would be the lines for getting your pictures. Check-in would be forever.

Jeff, which picture would you put on your KTTW card? (one more time???)

I think the DISboards shuts down everynight for a bit. Not sure though.

Good Job on the Quote, Jen. We are very relieved about the whole potty training thing. Laura and I are looking forward to a bit of alone time on the cruise.

Vista is definately not for those who are not computer savy, trust me. It is nice once you get used to it & I do find it more stable than XP; but I started early with the Beta release to get initiated and have used it for about a year now.

I am envious! Vista has been a nightmare for me! Crashes frequently with iTunes. (Blue Screen of Death, system memory dump kind of crashes!) The new Windows Mobile Device interface, while pretty, is somewhat complex to use and often corrupts pictures and data that is transferred to my device. And now, the final straw, Windows update won't work. I can't get the doggone thing to update any OS fixes anymore. It gives me a cryptic error code that I cannot find on any Microsoft database, however a google search reveals that this is a common problem, for which no one has found a satisfactory solution for. (Someone suggested re-installing Vista! Ha! Microsoft only allows for two installs of Vista and then you're done, back to the store to buy another copy. Fat Chance!) Once I get my critical stuff transferred to my XP partition I'll only be logging to Vista to play games that needs DX10 (Hey, wait a minute, there are no games that require DX10! Oh well!)

She fancies her self more of the Cinderella-type Princess Leah rather than the swashbuckling Leia. Still I get a bit of a smile calling her that, being a bit of a Star Wars fan myself. (Sadly, I am old enough to have stood in the Long Lines to see the original when it first came out.) That Slave costume is the biggest fear of all fathers-of-girls.
