I agree.. been buying scrapbook stuff and still have 2006 to do.. plus the kids baby books and from year 0-14.. oh well maybe when we retire I can scrap..


Funny story unrelated to the cruise - so skip here if you are not interested...

when Eric was in 4th grade, they were studying farming.. and the teacher asked what is a crop... So he raised his hand and said that a crop is where all the moms get together at Mrs D's and put pictures in scrapbooks... yep that all he knew of crops...

You had to go there Tom!!!! I have hundreds of dollars invested in scrapping and only did one page in two years.

After our cruise 08/06 I went out and bought everything to do with scrapbooking. Guess what? Everything is still in the bags that I bought them in. Someday I will get to start scrapbooking. Yeah Right!!!

OK occifer...i mean officer...no attorney.. i'll admit i got Tier 1.

I'm innocent.

But i only asked for an upper level cat 10. It was purely pixie dust that we were assigned the same room we just stayed in on the December DD cruise
(5520). So i consider the 7-day we took in Dec's as a test drive. I'm just excited because we really liked the location and really not many negatives with the room.

If i remember correctly, Dis'rs reported getting at least 4 or 5 of the 6 SPH's. I can't remember but someone from the thread was next door to me.

On our last cruise in August my sister and I had SPH adjoining and connecting. They were great close to elevators and stairs and really quiet. The TOAL we booked a CAT 4 and we are still GTY(I am going thru an anxiety attack wating for our room assignments).

I won't be around today when the Brits get home so: note to Andrew. Thanks from me and from Chris (Grandmax3) for giving us the information for how to reserve the private Palo brunch -- we were able to get it for the repo cruise next month, just heard yesterday. Also, Micmse2003 from the 2008 repo thread wants me to say hello to you in person on the cruise . . . she says you were very helpful to her when she was just starting out on the boards.

Thank you Julie and all for this post, I will be off Saturday to Barcelona for a pre cruise week in the city before the Magic on the 28th, I am going to hide something and see if its there on the 2008 Repo!

I don't have to for ketchup right now, but I wanted to check in and let you know that we found a house (rental) in the Mount Vernon area about 3 blocks from the Mount Vernon Yacht Club (we're not rich, but we can see it from here!). There is even a plaque by the front door that says it sits on land that was part of George Washington's Five Farms of Mount Vernon. We're about a mile from George's house. We're going to make a sign for the guest room that says "George Washinton's tobacco slept here" or something like that.

All the other areas we looked in made us grumpy - too much traffic, too many people, too much suburban sprawl. This area is less commercial, less congested and much better for us.

Anyway, I had a 3 hour job interview yesterday that seemed to have gone well & I have an interview at Mount Vernon next week. Of course living a mile away from there, I just guaranteed that I won't get that job...that's the way my life goes.

I hope all is well and I will try to ketchup in a few days.

Reserved, leather seats; in flight TV . . . I swear, once I went once (fairly early in their history) I didn't want to fly anyone else. And, no, I don't work for them . . .

ITA!!! I will pay a bit extra if it means no cattle call & I have my TV! Who else said they miss Song? I miss Song too (they had the best drinks & a trivia game) but Jet Blue is the next best thing.

Sheesh...I sound like a crazy lady. But this is just all so emotionally frustrating and draining. So I'm finally ready to admit to all of you that we "MAY NOT" get to go on the cruise. But I plan to become a part of this thread again, because no matter what happens, you all have been a fun group!

(and I want to make it perfectly clear that while I was deeply saddened by the possibility of not getting to go on the TOAL, I know that if we don't get to go, it will be for the GLORIOUS reason that "I'm a MOMMY finally!!" And once that happens, there will be PLENTY of cruises in our future!!! ...I don't want it to appear that I would in ANY way let the cruise plans interfere with our plans for children...Good grief I'm not really making sense so I'll shut up now...LOL)

Michaels has alot of Pirate stuff. They have Disney Flip Flops that are on sale this week. Princess,Tink and Pirates. They also have crafting stuff with the pirate motif.

Disney Store has Pirate Iron ons for about $6.

I don't know if I got tier 1, but I got in right as reservations opened on-line. The website was really slooooow but we got the Cat. 6 room we always get. That's thanks to Andrew who gave the advice to keep refreshing the page & it worked! Thanks Andrew!!!
