Lime Green Mickey Heads---you've ruined me!!!

Okay gals I went yesterday at lunch at got my Alien green Mickey Heads well to be truthful (I took about 30 to 40) well in my defense they were just sitting there with no one even looking at them not at all I just snatched them up and walked out with the handful got out of dodge asap.

I also went yesterday after work to the HD to get my LGMH. I walked into the HD, headed straight for the paint department, politely declined an offer of help on my way to the paint department, found the Mickey Heads immediately, grabbed the Tink room brochure per someone else's advice, stuffed a bunch of LGMH inside of the brochure and headed back toward the exit. In and out in under five minutes.

I'm wondering what is happening to all these LGMH's???? During my last trip, Sept 06, I looked everywhere for a fellow diser as I had my LGMH on my sling bag and I didn't see anyone else have these tags. I never got to do the "I'm watching you". Hmmppft!

I confess I stopped by Home Depot and liberated a few LGMHs. I had my DD with me and let her get a few red ones just to appear legit. Now I gotta figure out how to display them.

My husband thinks I am completely nuts! We went to the HD (with the kids in tow) and I stole (uh, I mean aquired) stacks of various colored MHPC for my countdown calendar (for the kids, of course). I was in no way ashamed or embarassed to be putting piles of MHPC in my purse, they are free of course. My husband on the other hand was totally reprimanding me for "stealing" and lecturing me on "values". Values? I need my MHPC!!!!! In fact, I need to go back and get my LGMHPC, without my husband, of course.

you go girl! i did mine the other day at HD we went on our lunch hour and I got about 40 of them and oh was my dboyfriend not happy but oh well I got my mickeys.

I asked my DBF come to HD with me to get some LGMH the other day... he just shook his head and rolled his eyes at me. The good news was that he did come - the bad news was that I was only able to get 5 LGMH... looks like some other DISers beat me to it! (I did leave one in case someone really needed the sample for their room! )

My husband thinks I am nuts too, started cause I insisted on reading all 3000+ pages of that other page and he would listen to me giggling at the antics of DISUNC and CYNDERELLA and others.. then I started telling him how it is our DUTY to liberate the LGMHPC!! So I went on lunch today and grabbed a bunch, got 22 Alien green, plus one each sonic boom and gamma sector which were misfiled in the back of the stack
I guess our husbands will never learn...but at least we know the true way!!!
I won't be leaving for another 212 days, though, so I am sure I will have to go back for more.

'Ohanamama is one of my oldest and dearest friends. We are now planning on our second trip to disney together (all 11 of us). We go to WL in 8-07. Well, I have been aquiring MH paint samples since before Chirstmas. I did not know about the "Alien Green". So, now I have to go back - Darn! Before we all know it, HD will put the disney paint samples behind lock and key from all of us.

I do not feel guilty at all for sneaking out with whatever I can hold. Look for 'Ohanamama and my room windows at the lodge. We will be there 8-4 to 8-12. Yes, our husbands think that we are nuts but there are worse things to be addicted to than MICKEY!!!!!

I went on my first run yesterday at lunch and managed to snag only 7 of them, so I MUST go back! Unfortunatly in my HD the Mickey paint chips are right on the end cap of an aisle facing the cashes at th front of the store! Makes it a little hard to be discreet... might have to try another store!

And yup, DBF thinks I"m slightly nuts! Lucally he's still willing to put up with me though He's being such a good sport letting me go back to Disney again after we just went last year.

I'm so glad I found this thread!! I thought I was alone on this one! My family things I'm insane!! I love the Mickey paint chips. I have been swiping them since I first saw them a few years ago. Its the only way I will go into Home Depot. LOL
