wow andy!! you are here early this am!! is that normal for a saturday? i would love to still be in bed, but we are getting ready to head out the door for NYC in a few mins!!! gotta love those bus trips! unfortunately they are making us leave the city at 6:30 which i don't like, but i think we all will have a great time still. it's the dh's and dk's first trip there, so wish us all luck!!

Beeping once every minute or two, or beeping a lot?

How old is it?

They go bad after a while (10 years). You probably should just replace it.

It is beeping every minute. But I think it is wired to the house. The people whose house this is(I am pet sitting) are on a Med Cruise. i emailed them but no response.

The house is only 1-3 yrs old.

Gosh - am I fated to never join chat??? I've finished most of what I needed to do today and thought I'd have time to join in - BuT NO - that darn whatever DGS had hit me hard today. I wondered why I had such a hard time driving yesterday - I was so tired - oh, now I know "kindergarten flu"!!!!!

I don't have too much to do tomorrow - so I can hopefully recharge so that I"m ready to drive back to So.Ca on Sun.

I will chat one of these Fridays - I will - I will - I will - I will!!!!!!! (I suppose I should be beyond having tantrums!!)

They need to replace it or get it looked at, sounds like a bad head (detector) or wiring problem.

Late Chat last night. Am on standby to run to the soccer field to shuttle again. Last games today. Yea!!! DD needs to re evaluate this for next season or clone herself.
Andy glad the knee is better. Hopefully the damp weather is the problem and that will be gone soon.
Speaking of the Magic, Hopefully we can get out to the port to bid her Bon Voyage. Thinking some sort of banner to represent this cruise. We'll see if I have the time. I have a bunch of old sheets I put aside.Guess I'll have to get out the paints.

So far so good, no phone call from the field.Better get dressed just in case

Good morning and happy Cinco De Mayo!!!

Tis a beautiful day here and DD and I are heading off to a Family Fun day at the Shawnee Inn.

To ketchup just a bit...pets...
We just lost our dear kitty Charlotte. She was almost 21 years old and I had her for about 16 years. We still have our 'good daughter', our yellow lab named Sally. She's almost 4. When we travel, one of my BILs stays at our house (kinda to babysit MIL ) so precious poochie doesn't have to go anywhere. Here's a pic of her with Patricia, taken after our last snow storm in MARCH...

Andy, hope those knees are feeling better. DH says "Thanks!!!" to both you and Cheryl. He suffers from degenerative arthritis of the cervical spine and the Thera-Gesic has helped quite a bit.

Chat was fun last night, but I stayed wayyyy too late. Going to bed at 1:30 am and having my precious up at 7:15 am did not make for a good morning.

The cold has got worse - there's a chest infection there as well (I get them frequently - I had one on the 10 Day Southern last September and I didn't leave the room for two days !!).
