  • Drinks around the world. Strolling around World Showcase, drink in hand, beneath a clear blue Florida sky is heaven on earth. Even better if we can do it during the IF&WF - categorically our favourite event at WDW.
  • Sitting at our favourite spot at the bar of Tommy Bahama's Tropical Cafe, Pointe Orlando.
  • Jellyrolls. About as much fun as you can have with your clothes on.
  • A couple of nights at one of the Universal hotels so that we can spend an evening at Margaritaville. FOTL is just a bonus!
  • Hanging around after IllumiNations for World Showcase to empty and having it to ourselves whilst the Millennium Celebration music fills the air.
  • Singing along throughout the entire performance of Carousel of Progress.
  • A trip to Edwin Watts on Turkey Lake Road.
  • Doing a full circuit of both levels at Mall at Millenia before finishing at the Tommy Bahama store to drop a load of cash, and finally ending up at our favourite spots at the bars of either The Cheesecake Factory or Brio Tuscan Grill.
  • When staying at a villa, finishing each evening with a dip in the jacuzzi accompanied by an ice cold glass of wine.
  • Sitting at our favourite spot at the bar of the Orlando Ale House enjoying cheap beer and a Zinger Melt (are you spotting a trend yet?)

And finally, one which would and should be on the list:

1. Epcot.

A bit general, I know, but I just love it. Wandering around WS, taking in the sights and stopping intermittently for a drink (or three!). It's fab.

2. Late-night swimming.

It's much quieter in the resort pools at night and the atmosphere is great.

3. The WDW buses!

I know a lot of people hate the bus system but I love the friendly drivers, the air conditioning (!) and the oh-so-familiar announcements.

4. SHOPPING!

From the resort store to Florida Mall, I'll shop anywhere. Even Walmart is a treat! I enjoy finding things we don't have at home. Luckily for me, DBF is just as keen.

5. Wishes.

It never fails to bring a tear to my eye. I'm sappy, I know!

6. Evening EMH.

It's such a weird feeling to be in a park at 1am. It's so much quieter and quite spooky, in a way.

7. 'Ohana and Chef TJ.

What a wonderful man! He really made my day on my last visit and I can only hope I'll be lucky enough to encounter him again.

8. Grey Goose slushie.

Enough said.

9. Mickey's PhilharMagic.

This show just epitomises WDW for me.

10. The people.

Friendly, helpful and welcoming, I've always been impressed by the people of Orlando.
