Mom's Bio

She's 47 years old and has been to Disney World 7 times (that she remembers).
As the Disney Veteran, she knows the ins and the outs of Disney.
She likes It's A Small World and The Magic Kingdom.
She works at a preschool and has for the past 3 years.

My Bio
I'm 17 years old and I have been to Disney World 5 times.
I just recently graduated high school and I'm working to become an X-Ray technician.
I like Big Mountain Thunder Railroad and The Magic Kingdom.
I currently work at a grocery store.

My mom just recently got a new car, a green Kia Soul.

So we will be driving 9 hours from Asheville to Disney World.
Of course we'll make a few stops along the way. But there are 9 hours between our little town and The Happiest Place on Earth.

'We're gonna sing, we're gonna dance, we're gonna eat slooshies.' - My Mom on what we'll do on our way there.

More than likely I'll fall asleep and feel bad when I wake up. Knowing that she had to drive in silence for a while.

But we do sing. We sing loudly.
On our way to the beach we stopped at a convenience shop and got 99 cent slushies.
We didn't think they would be good, but they were the best slushies we'd ever had.
So this is also a trip, for me at least, for the best slushie scavenger hunt.

All Star Movies.

It wasn't hard for me to decide where to stay.
We had stayed there once before and everything was amazing.

Everything about this resort screams 'Fun', for me at least.

We will be gone from June 29th until the July 9th.

As my graduation present from my mom we're going to Disney World.


This post, wasn't even really worth posting. But I had to.

Usually by now we have all of our things packed and ready to go, but this year we've procrastinated. I've been working almost a full-time shift, my mom has been working a full-time shift, and we haven't been home long enough to pack properly.

This is all we've got done and we've known about this trip for months.
I've packed 4 of my mom's outfits and 3 of mine.
All of our bathing suits are packed, thank goodness!
And that's all!

We haven't packed towels, medical things, or anything that we need while we're down there.

I feel so stressed out!
But I'm looking forward to this trip!

We are arriving on Disney property on the 30th. Which is the first day we're eating.

June 30th - Sci-fi
July 1st - Paradiso 37
July 2nd - Tusker House
July 3rd - The Plaza
July 4th - Akershus
July 5th - Rainforest Cafe
July 6th - Beaches and Cream

We've been to all of the unbolded places, but there aren't many places that we would actually eat.

I believed we should eat somewhere American on the 4th, but we booked too late.

If anybody has eaten at either Paradiso 37 or Akershus could you give me a review of them please?
I'd just like to know what I'm getting into!
