I'm really tempted to tackle this project for our June trip and do matching shirts for my granddaughter and me; however, I'm a little overwhelmed and concerned about the cost involved as well.

This thread gave me a lot of inspiration and I wanted to share my finished projects. We went in Jan 2012, had a great trip and the shirts and other projects made it special!
My daughter and I worked on these projects together. I printed and ironed; she glittered and trimmed the shirts for my granddaughters. This was my first time trying something like this and it wasnt hard at all. It did take a lot of work and time but it was so very worth it! We got a lot of compliments on the shirts and autograph books from cast members and characters. And best of all my granddaughters loved them!

the disign I used on the front is in post # 11 and the perry on the back is in post #17
I believe the airplane going to Disney was either Donatalie's or Milliepie's but I don't have it saved anymore. sorry I couldn't help on this one.
Scrapah1,
I updated the link - sorry about that.
I also found the airplane disign -it is Milliepie's

Re the glitter:
We purchased fine glitter at Hobby Lobby craft store, it came 9 or 10 very small jars in a package (we used 2 packages and their 50% off coupons), a tube of fabric glue and small paintbrushes (like the kids use for water paints).
My daughter is very artistic and loves doing things like this. She dipped the paint brush in fabric glue and then applied to the disigns and sprinkled the fine glitter on it, waited a few seconds and then shook it off. she also used the tip of the fabric glue to outline some of the disigns and applied glitter the same way. The craft store also sold a little flat tray by the glitter that she was able to shake if off into and put it back into the bottles. It is easier than it sounds. she did all of these shirts in a couple of weeks a few at a time.
