Thank you for the link to gambee's post. Beautiful pics. If you could have seen my DD's face when I showed her the pics of Castaway Cay - "we're going there?!?!"
I look at the Dis like I do product reviews on Amazon - throw out the highest review, throw out the lowest review and there somewhere in the middle is a review from someone who is similar enough to me and my needs that their review is actually helpful.
There are those on the boards for whom Disney can do no wrong and there are others for whom nothing and no one will ever make them happy. when reading the Dis, I try to just look for the tips, the tricks, a general idea of what to expect, and policies that may have changed this week. I have to admit there are times when I read a seemingly impossibly perfect trip report and begin to daydream. And then there are those threads that make me wonder why am I paying all this money to take this trip when it's so horrible. The truth is somewhere in the middle and a lot of it is what we will make of it as a family and as individuals.
I hope you have an amazing cruise. I've really enjoyed reading your opinion and experiences on NCL and look forward to others as I don't think we are loyal to the Disney brand. Sure, right now it makes sense for us because of the kids' ages and the fact that we earned so many points with the Disney visa over the last few years. But we're open to others.
Safe travels, Bon voyage!
