Almost 90 pages of posts...and I'm ready to concede that....MAAAAAYBEEE we're closer this time. Wake me from my hypersleep in time to try for this one in late October.
Lol! I’ve been wondering the same thing. I really want to try this restaurant but keep looking at that blast-off-to-space part withis it weird to ask you all: is this making anyone feel a little motion sick? like you feel on the mars attraction that i never go on? ! It feels dizzy ish and claustrophobic like how i feel with the star cruiser hotel.

We LOVED Mars 2112. My kids still talk about it all the time. While I have no idea how they are going to do it, we had been to Mars 2112 in NYC. They "transport" you to Mars for the meal. All it was the smallest amount of movement to simulate motion & then the doors opened on the other side.
This sounds like the same apparatus used to get to "Seabase Alpha" in the Living Seas pavilion. While I have no idea how they are going to do it, we had been to Mars 2112 in NYC. I think we’ll see more of the prix fixe menus as long as everything stays so busy. Prevents people from taking up spots for a cupcake.
Yep - and I'm good with that if it makes it easier for me to get a reservation!
Either way $ should be used in place of SHas the Disney abbreviation convention committee met to decide if this will be know as Space 220, S220, or something else? We need a way to kindly correct those who ask about the restaurant using the unapproved abbreviation or moniker...
I've been randomly refreshing the page every so often to see if it opens up. Maybe it will go live tomorrow at 6 AM EST when the next day of ADRs opens up?
Maybe Alien Swirling Saucers too?IDK but I move that we add to the agenda a revisit of the naming of the All-Star resorts, specifically Sports.
Family of 6? I expect it to be north of $300, even with only 2 adults.I was really excited about Space 220 but after reading how it’s being promoted I’m not sure it will be practical for our family (6 and 2 year old). Any thoughts?

Exactly! I was trying to explain to my daughter about that old “ride” It sounds like the same thing
omg my neice said that and hated that experience and won't go!!!While I have no idea how they are going to do it, we had been to Mars 2112 in NYC. They "transport" you to Mars for the meal. All it was the smallest amount of movement to simulate motion & then the doors opened on the other side.
I was wondering the same thing for my kids. One will eat pretty much anything, but the other likes the typical “kid fare” (pizza, chicken nuggets, etc). DH leans more towards the kid fare himselfI was really excited about Space 220 but after reading how it’s being promoted I’m not sure it will be practical for our family (6 and 2 year old). I'm sure your kids meal will include beverage and dessert. isn't a kids meal around $40 at BoG? Id expect similar pricing.I was wondering the same thing for my kids. Wondering if anything on the menu will be appealing to them.
Also wondering if they’ll have me dropping $80 for kids pizza and fries.
Agreed. I’m guessing 3-course dinner is $79/$39…I'm sure your kids meal will include beverage and dessert. isn't a kids meal around $40 at BoG? Id expect similar pricing.
Isn't that current pricing for BoG? I'm guessing if BoG has a price increase Space will followAgreed. I’m guessing 3-course dinner is $79/$39…
