Sometimes polite complaining works!

Rented a compact with Alamo through Costco. When we arrived (skip the counter) the guy steered us to a line of cars, all Mitsubishi Mirages. Seriously the crappiest rental I have ever had, must have been an economy. Another weird thing is that is that it had a Florida plate on the back, and a Maryland one on the front! When I returned it today I very nicely voiced my displeasure, and the rep at return credited me $70! Wow, nice service.

What type of car did you reserve? Mitsubishi Mirage is used on the Alamo website as the economy car option (or similar).
