Lot of appts & feeding of family going on here, including tomorrow. Wanted to share the bling the ‘lil won in middle school state competition. Received emails to the invitationals meets this side of state. Won’t be seeing her (or coach, Dad/Son lol) for a few weekends.

Ours have been shivering the last week, didn’t lose any. Already harvested first lettuce of season.

I'll have to come up some crafting ideas for GD

I cheated this week, handed a box of decorations over for the small holiday tree I have and said have at it. There is more red, white and blue than green tree at this point and the lights are blinding. As i always say, there is no wrong in art.

Express was a walk on, most of the rides. Deciding what to do tonight.

Yay, got a late checkout, so perfect as have to get gas and shop a little before final drive to airport. Sigh. These days flew by fast. But highly thinking a summer trip, and of course, the early Fall trip already booked for everything.

Waiting in line at Hagrid’s, with a weather day. At least we took cover at Cat’s, as even with our rain jackets, we saw red weather radar blob starting to go over us. Oh my, puddles everywhere. At least saying only a stormy morning. And oh so muggy in between that.

Wednesday is here, and camel is hiding out the rain. He sends his soggy wishes for a great hump of a day, as then get over the hump day, and that most fabulous Friday feeling then only a day away.

Most wonderful Wednesday to you all. And travel day for us. Yay, little one got a security appointment, so she should be quick through.

Lunchtime greetings. Nothing much going on today. Just a typical day of dealing with insurance.

I just picked up new eyeglasses. I went to a. Ew doctor and he thought my old prescription was too strong. I can already see improvement with the new lenses. (I got new, cute frames too.) The real test will be when I get back to the computer.

Thanks Charade. I am hoping no delay to our flight. You should be looking at your mail next week. Just saying.

Rode Hagrid's, and four other rides, and the train over to the Studios. Then walked back to our room, snacked, and packed the few that were left over, as we did pretty good as guessing how much we wanted to snack and drink. Drinking the last of our two leftover larger sized water bottles. Her’s is more drunk then mine, but I will drink most, then be tossed at the airport.

Glad we got a late checkout. So chilling in our room, until the gas and a little shopping before heading to airport.

We had a great time. So goodbye Florida until our next time.

Hey all, another day of being poked and prodded for me. Well worth it. 2nd opinion, like this specialist better and she’s in my regular health system. going to keep her as of more conservative working her way thru treatment options before going for the gold.

Tomorrow, last day to feed the troops here. Decided to put off the wings till tomorrow as I have to make 4 dozen and afraid I was going to run out of time. Pizza saved the day.

Don’t laugh…the upgrade saga on upcoming cruise just keeps humming along. Booked a guaranty ocean view balcony, for the three of us. Received the room assignment today. A king bed. Not even a sofa bed in the room.

Nope, not going to work. We paid for three “adults”, i want three beds of some sort. They actually asked if we considered bunking together.

Who the heck is piloting that ship? I expect better from RCCL SHM

That’s different, usually people say not strong enough. Do u get that ‘blue’ glare blocker. I’ve had on my cheap cheaters, can’t say I’ve seen any difference as to reducing glare from computer.

I love getting new frames. I wish I still had single vision lenses. If I did, I would buy a few pair and use them like fashion accessories.

I’ve watched the first 3. I thought the one with the babies was really strange. The music one was good until the end. I was left thinking “what did I just watch?”

Oh my, after boarding 3 hours after we should have, sat 45 minutes on the tarmac because no runway open, as so many other planes coming and going. Then we circled when we got back, so instead of arriving at 7:30pm, arrived at 11:45 pm. By the time our luggage came out, funny that our cases came out one right next to the next one coming. So two grabs at same time. Fast enough ride home, though known detour near home was still in use. So no pumpkin ride I had. Sigh. And that alarm went off fast.

But commute would have been a bit faster, but had a tractor trailer in front of me, and could not get around him, until turned off at the street that goes along where I enter. But quiet as only one entering. Parked in favorite parking spot, and very quiet is my office. Cup of tea, and think laptop, while taking a time to boot up, still having issues with teams, but whatever, I’ll just close and try each time, until it behaves.

Sigh, was thirsty, as a good day reminder for such. And so thankful, for this three day weekend coming up.

Oh weather. Am at 59 degrees. Not that 73 this early morning, that the place as just left has. Sigh. And ack, Keisha, unacceptable what Royal said to you. They better make it right, guaranteed class of rooms or not. Ridiculous their comment to sleep together. I hope they straighten out getting a room with 3 beds for you. Heck, they should upgrade you.

Looks a little rainy this weekend. We'll do 25th in UO and 26th in IOA. Staying at Rosen Shingle as we have friends meeting us there for dinner Sat. Probably do an early dinner at Mythos Sun to get back home at reasonable hour. Happy Thirsty Thirstday y'all.

Quick morning stop in!!!

I started a post yesterday morning when it was quiet...then all heck broke out on the unit and a teams meeting in the afternoon - and poof my day went by - then it was time to head home.

I enjoyed a quiet night last night. Whipped up butter chicken last night - older son came home early from working out of town - so it was easy to make extra for the 3 of us. Covered up the sparkles that were shining through.

Video chatted with dh once he was settled in his hotel room. He/they are in Rhode Island for their training today and tomorrow - then head back to Boston tomorrow night to spend Friday night and Saturday in Boston - then he heads home Sunday. Quick business trip. Apparently the people sponsoring the training have scheduled a big boat tour of the Boston Harbor. He is quite excited about doing that. He was hoping that MAYBE just maybe he would be able to take in a Bruins game while there - but no such luck.

We have rain today!!!! It's just a nice drizzly rain - good for soaking into the ground type of rain. Hopefully the forecast is correct and more rain will fall next week again - and that will really help to lower our fire hazard level to a more manageable level. Now to hope that brother-in-law far up north starts to see some rain as well. Their area needs it even more than our area does. 2 years ago they flooded - now the river that flooded - they are able to walk across it. The elders in the area only remember that happening a few times in the 30's.

Wow....just wow I swear Hollywood couldn't make up some of these scenarios that pop up in real life.

I love getting new frames. I wish I still had single vision lenses. If I did, I would buy a few pair and use them like fashion accessories.

I do too. My next set - I'm hoping are the magnetic frames - that you can pop on. Then I'll get a pop on sunglasses/tinted ones. I don't like switching out pairs of frames - I'm blind without my glasses on. I also don't like the lenses that automatically tint when you get into sunlight. My eyes are super sensitive to light/dark. I can't see properly either way. I'm guessing by the time I'm 60 I won't be able to drive at night anymore

Yikes! It may have taken longer to get home - but you got there which is all that matters. Lucky you for having late check out. It definitely helps make your day more enjoyable when you have late leaving flights.

Well, I should go shuffle/scan some papers in. Always little things to do during the day.

I made 42 whole wings today. Had 2 air fryers going and kept warm in oven. Don’t want to look @ wings for awhile. Do have enough leftover to feed the mr again tomorrow. He loves cold wings (ew). Tomorrow I’m making ham BBQ sandwiches. Made with the one & only Isaly’s chipped, chopped ham. Get a hankering for it a couple times a year, comfort food from childhood

That would be lovely, I’m getting nervous about not having “a” cabin at this point. Never had so much trouble with any trip’s component. Have decided I will be a squeaky wheel & call them every few days to try to get some sort of assurance.

I distinctly remember that first day back to work after a trip, never seemed to go well for a myriad of reason. Weekend is almost here.

So true. I’ve had the same one for decades. It’s those specialists that are rough to book, any of them. Advice I got was to grab the first one open, then book the one you really want to see for a 2nd opinion. Thot it strange to hear at first, did work out for me.

So quiet here lately. I guess everyone is either busy or, if you are like me, just don’t have much to say right now.
Today has been a mostly lazy day. I went to Sam’s Club earlier today. I only needed paper towels and allergy medicine, but left with over $120 worth of stuff because dh came with me. It would have been higher but I wouldn’t let him buy the 75 in TV he saw.

Last night was interesting. We went to our favorite Mexican restaurant for dinner. I went in a separate car because I was going to my crafting group later. I got to the restaurant and there was an empty parking space in front of the restaurant to my left. I was waiting to park because there was a man putting a baby in the backseat of the car next to the empty space. Then the man opened the driver door and just stood there. As I was waiting for him ti get in the car, a car in front of me and to my right started backing out. I tapped my horn to let the driver know I was there but she kept backing out. I didn’t have tome to pit my car in reverse before our cars met. Fortunately she was going very slow and only left a smudge of white paint on the front of my car. She apologized and then told me it was a new car and she was going to get it insured. Seriously??? I swear my car has become a magnet for uninsured drivers.
I hope the rest of my weekend will be less eventful.
