Rejected Offers Thread

I just got a “ I am not sure they will accept that low of an offer” for a $122 per point offer for BLT 160. Got emailed this morning that it was accepted. Now just waiting on the paperwork.
Timing is everything. My offer of $137 was slightly more than several sales at the time however the sellers I bid on were not there yet. I am fairly certain that at least 3 of the contracts I offered $137 ended up selling for less.

I wanted to close by April so I could book an August trip so I moved on and purchased SSR after bidding on the BLT contracts that met my criteria but not able to agree on a price.

A few months ago when prices were really low I got 160 akv points for $108 a point, not the deal of the century by any means but i targeted a contract with no points in the 2023 UY. it was legit the only offer i made and was accepted within 2 hours. if you can be flexible like that it may provide leverage with a seller who has nothing to offer. just an idea for some of ya.

I wonder if it’s actually 180 points at $100? I have seen this broker make a fair amount of typos over the years.
If it was a mistake I would think by now it would have been corrected as it has been up for 2 days.

I’ve been putting in lowball offers every now & then over the past year… no bites yet. I just ran into a new website & wondered if it it’s legit?

https://www.atimeshare.com

They appear to have the exact same contracts listed as https://sellingtimeshares.net & it’s also identical to https://resales.*******.com as well.

Any experience is appreciated. I know sellers list with multiple brokers & I often see the same listings across several sites, but this is odd. There are zero different listings 😳

I don’t mind giving the same/similar offers to the same seller, but I’d rather not do that with the same broker… or worse (ie- does one company run multiple sites? or is one a scam using other sites’ listings??). Thanks!

They are legit, but have bad reputation for poor communication and high closing costs. I mostly know them from other timeshares. Some have reported getting good deals eventually.

I had my second shot at a small HHI contract, and I was outbid. It listed at $99/PP - 25 Points. I bid $85.
No idea what the winning bid was???

All BCV
150, $120, $150, 4/23
150, $120, $155, 4/23
150, $120, $163, 4/23
150, $128, $152, 4/23
150, $115, $149, 6/23
150, $125, $163, 6/23
Some of these have different UY and varying banked points, so that is why my offers varied on some of them. So far no luck, but I'm just looking to add on if the price is right.
