Questions on a Disneyland & Aulani honeymoon

It looks like we'll finally be taking our honeymoon - just a couple of decades late. We're traveling from the East Coast, so our plan is to fly to Disneyland, spend a few days, then fly on to Hawaii. On Hawaii we'd like to stay a few days at Aulani, but more time (or at least the same time) at an adults only resort. For that sort of trip would you use a Disney travel agent or regular agent? Any suggestions on when I should start planning?

Although you’ll find a few adults only areas at both DLR & Aulani (a few restaurants & pools), Disney isn’t known for adults only fun. I’d suggest a reputable travel agent. Having stayed at both DLR & Aulani several times, I might suggest go ahead with DLR but consider other adults only resorts in the Caribbean or Mexico on the way home.
