Question on borrowing

Quick question on borrowing. I’ve searched but I couldn’t find the answers. I know you can only borrow 50% of the next UY. Is that 50% of the total points on your contract or 50 % of the points you have left after booking trips in that particular UY? Thanks!

50% of your contract.

If you have 100 points per UY then you can borrow 50.

If you have 100 points in your contract to borrow, you can borrow up to 50 total of those points. No more than that. If you make multiple reservations needing borrowed points, the total borrowed cannot exceed 50%.
