New Cabana Prices 2023

We have one for our upcoming cruise. A special treat to my graduating college kids-my covid graduates that our cruise was cancelled twice. An already steep price. May be our last-on the family beach anyway.

Our story is very similar to yours. Our daughter graduated with her bachelors degree in 2020 and also did not get to have that once in a lifetime experience with a college commencement. Her diploma was slipped to her a few months later from a slot and behind a plexiglass. Our scheduled cruise to celebrate was also cancelled in 2020. In a few more months she will be completing her masters and asked if we can do another Disney cruise to celebrate. How do we say no? We booked a concierge suite and as much as I hate the price increase for a cabana I'll probably try to get one for this cruise.

Could be worse....
(The prices includes 8 people, it's not per adult)

Same situation here-daughter 2020 graduate. The time between then and now to complete her master's, attend police academy and now serves as an officer in our town. How do you say no to that? My son graduated from college too. really-they deserve the cabana, and we can do it, we are blessed. Hoping for a great trip with great weather. A long overdue celebration of wonderful achievements.

I thought the cabanas were always $750
This. I think the people who are shocked are the people who haven't had a cabana in several years (someone upthread was comparing pricing to 5 years ago). I saw the thread title and was expecting to see $1,000 per family cabana or something. Instead, people are acting shocked about what's already pretty much been the going rate for much of the year.

I just rented a cabana a few months ago in December of 2022 when I was on the Dream. I had Cabana #3 on the family beach. The cost for that cabana was $599 plus tax. Perhaps it was less expensive in December rather than in July, but it certainly was much less than the new price. I'm not trying to flame you at all here, but just saying what I just paid a few short months ago.

Seasonal pricing (March-September) was $649 plus 12% VAT tax which came out to $726.88. Im unsure if these new prices included tax or not. If they do it’s a very small increase. Even if they don’t, it’s still too small of an increase in my opinion as they need to try to decrease demand so they don’t have a ton of unhappy concierge customers.

I was just wondering that: do the new prices include the tax or is there another 12% on top of this?
