This was my first trip to Disney World. It was also the best time of my life. I will give you guys a review and things I did day by day. I went with my girlfriend it was both of ours first time. It was also my first time flying. We stayed at the all star movies resort from 8/22-8/27 then AK 8/28. They were both nice but AK was obvious better and I plan on going there the whole time next.
Saturday: Our flight left at 6:30 in the morning and we got to our resort at 1. We checked in no problem and went for a little 10-minute swim. Then we were headed off to MK for the day at 3:30 and it had EMH until 2am. We got there and walking up Main Street gave me goose bumps. I have been waiting my entire life to finally experience this great magical moment. We rode a bunch of rides, then watching Wishes and a parade. My favorite was Big Thunder Mtn. it was awesome we rode it 3 times in a row at 1:30 Am because there was no wait. We also meet Anna and Else at 1am and waited 5 minutes. Didn’t get back to the hotel until past 3. When we got back I arranged to have flowers and several gifts arranged in our room for my girlfriend from Disney Floral and Gifts, she loved it and was so happy, was a great surprise to her. I was up for 24 hours straight, but not even tired, because Disney was just so amazing. I was so exited to go back.
Sunday: Slept in a little. Went to downtown Disney. Back to resort to drop off items we bought and eat lunch. Then we went to MK for the day. We ate at Be Our Guest, I got a steak and it was delicious, there fries are hand-cut and fantastic as well. Here is a picture. http://imgur.com/K8B3fem And of course we had the grey stuff: http://imgur.com/BExky7I During Wishes the Mine Train said it was a 60-minute wait we got on in less than 10 and could see the fireworks on it which was cool.
Monday: Went to Epcot. Rope dropped test track was one of the first people on. Loved that ride. After that we went straight to Soarin’. This was beyond my favorite ride. Rode is 3 times this day. Longest I waited was 35 min. Was a solid day I would say.
Tues: HS, my gf was absolutely terrified for this day. She wanted to ride RNR and ToT but was so scared. She ended up doing both of them and I was so proud of her. We rope dropped RnR and were in the second ride of the day. I was pretty scared of roller coasters but loved in. We rode it again right after. I was really terrified of the tower of terror but I did it and loved it here is a picture. I am on the far right, front row.hahahttp://imgur.com/PJOTPLR For lunch we ate at 50s prime time, got a salmon, it was one of the best I’ve had honestly. This is the desert we got it was crazy good. http://imgur.com/VBYVQHD Saw Beauty and the Beast, Indiana Jones, and Stunt Spectacular and would recommend seeing all, last we saw fantasmic, was great
Wednesday: Went back to MK for the day, got in early because 8am BOG reservation. The breakfast itself was not very good but getting into MK early was worth it all together. We headed back to our resort for the day around noon but before we left i bought a Mickey Mouse stuffed animal. When I got it I thought I put it in my backpack but when we got back I could not find it. I was pretty upset by this. I just paid $20 dollars for a cute little Mickey, and it was no where to be seen. I felt like I let Mickey down. When we got back to the park for the parade I went to the store I got it(Equorium) to see if I left it on the counter. They could not find it. The manager came out and grabbed a new Mickey, ripped the tag off and gave it to me. It was one of the most considerate and kind gestures I have ever expereinced. People in the World are truly the nicest people I have ever encountered. This made me really happy. So considerate.
Thurs: Went to AK for the day/ Loved Exp. Everest, rode it twice in morning. Didn't eat there, was saving room for Boma. Rained a lot this day. We left and checked in to AK Lodge, had a beautiful room with a Savannah view, here are some pictures. http://imgur.com/JUI7B43 http://imgur.com/Wvl9Eu5http://imgur.com/MchIixH We ate dinner at Boma and it was amazing, all you can eat steak, chicken, salmon, mashed patatoes and more! I was in heaven. It was for sure one of the best buffets I have ever ate at. The zebra domes were amazing. http://imgur.com/sdKV8t3 After that we hung out, packed a little, sat on the balcony, and went to the pool, then a fire. Loved this hotel so much. That night I was sitting on the balcony, taking the whole disney expereince in and how much of a good time I was having. And was on my gfs laptop already planning my next trip. I must go back.
Friday: Went to epcot for the day, Rope dropped Test Trck, rode it twice. Went around the world and soared. Left around 3 to go back to lodge to take DME to the airport and left.
Overall, this trip was truly amazing. People in Disney World are all so generous and kind. I was sad coming back. I can't believe it took me 20 years to expereince the Disney Magic. I am already working on going back. Thank you everyone here who helped me plan to make my first Disney trip one I will never forgot.
